The farm was beautiful, we loved watching the animals roam around freely. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they provided us with ice (to keep the fridge cold) when the power was off. The housekeepers did a wonderful job and made our stay even more carefree.

Butjani lodge is a beautiful place to stay to escape the hustle & bustle of the city. Melissa & Owen (and the other staff) could not do enough for us. Melissa prides herself on providing mouth watering meals that are both inventive and enjoyable. Owen does a fabulous game drive early evening which is informative and enjoyable. He’s also a pretty good bar man! The lodges were comfortable, clean, with super comfy pillows & mattress. The bathroom was a dream with all amenities, including a great bath & a bonus outside shower. Tea, coffee & homemade biscuits provided were a delight in a morning & after the game drive. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Exceeded my expectations. Amazing little place with breathtaking views, kitchen/ lounge/ dining area opens onto boma. So nice and spacious fitted with all that is needed. Nyala came to eat fruit out my children's hands at the campsite. Could see zebra, ostrich and buck from our boma. Lynne was really accommodating and friendly. Kids were so chuffed to be called to come see a baby Blesbok.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great and the alcohol prices were very cheap. Our room and the location exceeded all expectations.
