Lovely beach home with a fantastic view of the ocean. Huge amount of space for a large family. Kathleen was a very warm host. Well kitted out kitchen etc and lovely braai and balcony area. We would have loved to stay for longer. Mojo the dog looks intimidating but is the friendliest guard dog we've met!!

Botha House is set in beautiful grounds and it's a gorgeous building full of character. My room was spacious, comfy, quiet and super clean. Breakfast is very tasty, and you can eat it on the lovely veranda looking out to sea feeling like royalty. The staff are very kind and do their best to help you in every way. It's the perfect place for a retreat as it's fairly remote. You will need a car to stay here and to reach eateries. It's 5 mins drive from the wonderful Pennington beach where you can swim. All in all it was very good value for money, and I felt quite spoilt at the end of my stay:)

The kitchen was a delight to use, the bedrooms were spacious and serene, and the outdoor area — especially the patio overlooking the fairway — quickly became my favorite spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

The actual town is not of interest.

The actual town is not of interest. We tend to go to the Beach Cafe (which is run by the conservancy) which overlooks the sea. It is always spotless and the service is good - but its the location which makes it extra special. It is also pet friendly.

The location and property are a beautiful, tranquil place. The staff are outstanding and service excellent. The room we stayed in was super large and had a lovely patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. I loved the beach club. Awesome to go to the beach with a secure access, and the pool area was awesome. Never mind that we did not have to look for parking at the beach as the beach club has its own parking and your vehicle is safe behind a locked gate with security.

CodsView Beach House is well taken care off and much loved, everything was just perfect. I took my two doggies with, and they thoroughly enjoyed the garden. Waking up in the morning and having our coffee out on the deck was such a spoil. Thank you, Bev, for the friendly handover of the keys and for making us feel welcome. You really made our stay special.

Bryan was the most friendly and helpful host.We were very impressed with all the small things provided to make us feel comfortable ...There was even milk in the fridge for our coffee. The location is absolutely beautiful...5 minutes walk to the beach.

What a beautiful place! Everything was exceptional. From friendly staff to a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back! The beach is so clean, toilets perfect and a lovely restaurant as you get down to the beach. 10/10 for location!
