A little paradise in Paternoster Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent staff & service. Glass of champagne on arrival, cleaning the room 2x a day, a little treat on the bed before sleeping, bottle of water on departure and so on. Amazing (fresh) food and they recently opened up the oyster lounge with stunning view over the ocean. Room was very cozy, nicely decorated, a lovely bed and airco. Would definitely recommend Abalone while visiting Paternoster. Thanks for all, we will definitely return 🫶🏻

Paternoster is a lovely seaside village and the Paternoster...

Paternoster is a lovely seaside village and the Paternoster Hotel was convenient as an overnight stay on our trip. However, the hotel could do with some upgrading and renovating as it is old fashioned and tired looking. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good and breakfast was included, so fairly good value for money. Would I stay there again? Probably not, as I think there are better places to stay in Paternoster for a similar cost.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. We stayed at 2 different locations in different parts of paternoster and the 1st was a treat. The views and sunrise feels like you’re in Greece. The restaurants and food is great and the people are friendly.

Great position , well equipped rustic accommodation , probably needs a better set of cutlery but otherwise well positioned , secure and private .the parking is very narrow so I think a warning to those with slightly bigger cars will struggle to access the internal parking space provided , I would definitely recommend the accommodation to others .

A quaint little town with so much to offer. So many places to explore, whether by foot, by bike or by car. The beeches were amazing and so many restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely little village that despite its growth,...

What a lovely little village that despite its growth, remains peaceful, safe and quaint. You feel like you in Greece. Safe enough to walk around on your own. The village has several outstanding restaurants that are well worth going to, 'Gaaitjie' was amazing! Another highlight was the horse trail at Drikus Horse trails with our guide Vicky who was fantastic.

The only small West Coast town situated on the beach that we found had everything we needed to be comfortable and never had to eat at the same restaurant twice because we had to, but the variety of restaurants was awesome. Lots of things around and up and down the West Coast to see and do.

Cecillie is a wonderful host and was very helpful during our stay.We enjoyed the free ciabatta bread-and bottle red wine.We loved the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything you need for self catering. Great location and beautiful views 👌🌞🌈
