This property is a boutique hotel with a lot of charming. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The receptionist (whose very friendly and helpful), offered us a glass of bubbly to cool down, we sat under the beautiful trees and talked about the property and its history. Then, they upgraded us to a a bigger room over the main building. The room dated to 1600s which I find super cool. The food was delicious, the property is very well maintain, the staff is very friendly, the pool is a good size for a property with 15 rooms only. The breakfast is served under the trees in the garden. This place is magic. The sherry on top was the details, every night they'll come the room and leave you water and sweets by the bed, then at check-out they gave us a little bag with goodies including a small bottle of their own wine (yes, they also make their own wine). I highly recommend this hotel.

CQ is a little paradise in Paarl. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The premises and views are stunning and the room is well appointed. The location is great, walking distance to Laborie and close to the most popular wine farms. The breakfast was divine - fresh baked bread alongside a beautiful spread. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent central location for visiting the wine farms in...

Excellent central location for visiting the wine farms in Paarl, Wellington and Franschhoek. Zonnevanger guest house is a hidden gem. You van actually do some real wine tasting without having to travel far. Both Paarl and Wellington are close by if you need to visit a store or get some emergency supplies. Great value for money. Breezy Hill is an excellent veenue to watch sport on their big screen televisions in their huge pub.
