The place was very clean and it’s smelled fresh

The quite environment, wonderful patios, well equipped house. Safe feeling because of double gate (1 of area and 1 of the lodge itself). Good housekeeping and guard. In the middle of a nice property surrounded by Impala's, Bushbucks and numerous birds this was a place we felt home from the start. One could easily spend a full week here. A lot to do in the surroundings, st Lucia is 20-25 min drive on safe and well maintained road. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely come back if St Lucia is on our planning!

It is an amazing place we want to come back to. We were delighted during our stay for several reasons. Firstly, our room was beautifully decorated. Every small detail, including the scent, was carefully considered. For instance, there is a comfortable bathtub with a bathtub tray and candles; the sink is decorated with the image of a hippo. There are gels, shampoos, body lotions, cotton swabs, and pads near the sink – all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and I must say we are quite particular about it. There is a TV in the room – although we didn't watch it, we enjoyed listening to the radio with local and classical music. Additionally, we were provided with tea, coffee, and small snacks in the room. Secondly, the owner of the place, Adrian, helped us plan and organize our stay in St. Lucia. Thanks to him, we had the best experience during our entire journey in South Africa. We had a boat tour to see hippos. Importantly, we were on a boat with only a few tourists and a knowledgeable guide, while other ships were crowded with people. Our guide showed us some additional sights. The next day, we went ocean fishing, and there were only five of us on the boat. We were very lucky, and for 3.5 hours, we enjoyed whale watching. Now, we have hundreds of pictures and videos of whales, and I even caught a big tuna! Adrian joined us to ensure the fish was properly cooked in the restaurant. It was a delicious and unique experience; we had never eaten such fresh tuna. Adrian also provided suggestions about restaurants, local markets, and other excursions. We truly appreciated the way he and Marie treated us. Thirdly, the breakfasts were superb. In the evening, guests can come to the hall, have a drink, and listen to music. There were books and photo albums available. For those interested, there is a small pool. We didn't swim but enjoyed its illumination in the evenings. We highly recommend booking this place.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, secure & beautiful gardens. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely to eat our breakfast on the verandah watching the birds.

Jorg was so helpful and welcoming and the breakfast were really lovely! Everything was perfect and would definitely return! Highly recommended!

The place was clean, quiet and safe. Excellent Wifi and a TV I could watch all my soccer matches. Loved the space, definitely will visit again.

Glad we chose his guest house. Staff were very helpful in all regards. Beautiful guest house which is very clean and well maintained. Very convenient location. Breakfast was amazing as well as the snack/lunch bags given to us for our daily safari excursions. Highly recommended!!
