It was my 1st time booking to the lodge. All people we come across with were very friendly, starting from the receptionist. The breakfast was delicious. I liked the attitude of Miss Kubheka, the waitress. She is outstanding. The area is very quiet. I will frequently visit the area.

I understand that Ladysmith is an old town ,but ,I was very disturbed when I saw shacks right in town ,there are other areas in CBD, that were dirty ,in Small towns like Ladysmith ,we are expecting orderly and clean places especially in CBD. Municipality must enforce the by laws. We like to visit small towns .

So many restaurants that have nice food,the amazing natural views around Ladysmith,malls are around you dnt have to travel long distance if you need something,there's a museum that has lot of information about Ladysmith.

The town is very easily layed out and full of history.

The town is very easily layed out and full of history. Guided and unguided tours are available to visit the war that took place in the area. The richness in history and facts are felt throughout town. Not many restaurants available. Ensure that you do visit the area and plan enough time to visit at least two war sites.

We enjoyed our stay there, the rooms were clean and photos we saw on the website did not deceive us at all. Easy location to find. We would definitely stay there again should we find ourselves in Ladysmith in the near future. The extra blankets went a long way in those chilly winter nights and we did not have to ask for them, but already found them in our rooms. They can consider changing the iron in the ironing room since the 1 we found was barely warm.

It’s a peaceful place, very clean and I mean very clean, different types of breakfast on a daily basis, the ladies are so welcoming, helpful, communicative and caring, in a nutshell the place is beautiful, I’ve stayed there before and I returned to the place and everytime I am in Ladysmith I will go stay there over and over..

I loved the view from our room, the sunset was amazing and at night the town's lights was magical. our room was very quit and felt like we were in nature, saw a hawk flying by while laying in the bath over looking trees. Breakfast was exceptional, lots of choice and delicious. Can not wait to visit Ladysmith again
