Everything, such an amazing experience. Already on the way to the lodge we saw zebras and then from the small reception hut we saw more animals, e.g. giraffes in the distance, amazing! Our house was lovely and had everything you needed. Also Audrey was the best and helped us with everything we needed and always went the extra mile

The gamedrives were on time and very well maintained with frequent stops with sharing information. The Bush drink experience was als wonderful..snacks and always variety offered before hand. At the camp the food was really the best.. menu was extensive..catering for all tastes and many options all equally tasty and delicious to choose from. They included my friends also in the dinner and checked if I was in agreement. Everyone and everything went smoothly and we were so happy with our stay and experience.

We enjoyed every moment. Lovely boutique African bush lodge, easy going vibe, good facilities, friendly staff offering consistent service and excellent guides on the game drives. We did 6 game drives and all meals were included on a 3 night stay which was fabulous and great value The restaurant was very flexible and accommodated my dietary needs. The bar area was inviting and drink prices were very reasonable. The Lodge is spread out over well kept grounds, you feel very peaceful as it's not overcrowded even when fully occupied. The pool area is abundant in bird life and buck and zebra etc roam the grounds. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Close to home, easy to get there.

Close to home, easy to get there. Booked wrong room - needed self catering accomodation but staff could change the room - at a HEFTY price tag....... Needed more space in the fridge. Needed more tea towels in the kitchen. Mellerware and microwave is great. Outside shower is wonderful for people who like to shower, but weather needs to be right. Bath itself very narrow.

I liked the hot tub and relaxing and listening to the sounds...

I liked the hot tub and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the wildlife such as the Jackels calling and the whooping of the hyenas. Also, just the general sounds. There are also a variety of birdlife that come through. I enjoy the tranquillity especially in the early morning.

The room is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Spacious inside, well equiped and beautifuk bathrooms. The outside kitchen is fantastic, more than enough cutlery to host your neighbours and friends. Proper cutlery and crockery is supplied. The Boma area is fantastic, with all you need, honestly the owners thought of everything. We lacked nothing. PS Wood and Ice was only a phone call and 3 minutes away, anytime of day. The shop is well stocked with everything that you could have forgotten about. I can recommend this lodge to anyone needing a bush break, you will be pleasantly surprised Lastly, very central to Dinokeng with many activities and restaurants close by

It is a beautiful game lodge and very well kept, neat and has all facilities that we needed. The owner and staff are very friendly and always looking out for you and making it a very enjoyable experience.

Dinokeng Nature Reserve is beautiful and allows to easily...

Dinokeng Nature Reserve is beautiful and allows to easily spot the Big 5 and many other animals. Self-drive permits are available at reasonable prices. However, some gates were unmanned, so it was impossible to actually access some of the areas designated for self-drive.

Really short drive from Johannesburg, so great to be able to...

Really short drive from Johannesburg, so great to be able to visit the bush and see game without driving too far. We opted for self-drives and saw giraffe, impala, waterbuck, kudu, gemsbok, tsessebe, warthogs (right outside our camp), jackals, zebra and bird life. Was too short a trip.
