Such a lovely and peaceful place. We loved listening to the waves while lying in bed. The patio is perfect for yoga and relaxing in the morning, with a beautiful view of the sunrise. kitchen and facilities are excellent (coffee, tea, milk etc.). The hosts are so kind and helpful. wish we could have stayed a week!

Best peacefull getaway place to ground your soul and achieve total equilibruim away from the hassle and bussle of everyday life. Everything was exceptionally clean and neat. Nothing was out of place and the studio was equipt with a proper large fidge freezer to hold all our food for the 4 days. The host was very attendful, towels was changed twice and the small gestures like fresh roses, beach towels, and beachball rackets was thoughtfull. Special thanks to Ms Visser and her team. You will defnitely see us again.

What a unique experience!!! We loved loved staying at the ostrich cottage! Amazing garden, terrace & surrounds, and the hot tub is the total cherry on the top! We were incredibly lucky... saw wildlife from the first moment... zebras and springboks to start with. In the morning we got up early to watch the waterhole, but no animals. But when we got back to the cottage, we saw springboks directly behind the fence, and later had a lovely visit from a group of ostriches... AMAZING!! The highlight was watching the ostriches drink & bathe. We enjoyed an amazing sunset during our stay, and an incredible night sky, millions of stars and the milky way... our stay was truly breathtaking and memorable.

It's a destination where owners obviously keep their...

It's a destination where owners obviously keep their properties neat and tidy. Nearly all lawns were cut recently. Being a destination - not a drive through location - adds security to it... Good sea views from almost all properties.

A very cute area, beautifully located, with a great beach...

A very cute area, beautifully located, with a great beach and coastal walk. The town might get very crowded during peak season, although that wasn't the case when I was there. There is only one restaurant, and only two shops with limited supplies, so it's best to stock up in Stilbaai en route.

Gerhard is such a lovely host.

Gerhard is such a lovely host. He assisted us last minute and greeted us at the door. The most beautiful view of Jongensfontein. He had a whole lot of load shedding lights. The place was clean and very spacious.

Jongensfontein is a safe location for a great seaside...

Jongensfontein is a safe location for a great seaside holiday. Its mainly a residential area with low traffic volumes. It's ideal for hiking or running excersizes along the seafront or on street level. A Rocky seafront with many tidal pools and a small sandy beach area.

Jongensfontein has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Jongensfontein has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. Even though it is a quiet little town the shops and restaurants are able and willing to assist with any query, A visit to Jongensfontein will be unforgettable and surprise you for all the right reasons.
