Wonderful & spotless hotel where any guest is truly invited to relax. Gorgeous rooms with panoramic views to the ocean, well equipped from the whirlpool in the rooms, to the little biscuits and chocolats available, to the options to watch Netflix directly setup. The team running the hotel is beyond fantastic - special mention to Dean who has truly made our stay special with his impeccable service, positive attitude & attention to detail (we got our own private dinner on the balcony!). One of the best hotels we stayed in South Africa. Wonderful place, beautiful territory, warm stuff, tasty food, hot tube (!) near the water, stunning view and no people. Hotel was fully booked but we saw almost no other guests. Even in winter it was warm in the room. Room is fully equipped. You will find everything you need. We fully relaxed here. Room was cleaned twice a day. Welcome snacks and drinks in the room were very tasty. You feel like they waited for you, like you are really welcome here. I can recommend this lovely place to everyone, you won't regret.

Lovely views from a scenic coastal path. Part of the costal path towards the town is in need of repair and therefore closed but doesn’t distract from the great views. During the season whale watching can be great to see. Bars and restaurants are of a good standard, for us the steaks at Chard’s are excellent and well worth trying

One of the most beautiful seaside towns in South Africa, if not the world. The waterfront offers a multitude of excellent restaurant options, and at night has a warm and welcoming ambience. The Sky Bar offers an exciting range of cocktails and has a lovely buzz. The cliff walk is a must-do, offering breathtaking views along the coastline and across Walker Bay.

Come to Hermanus for the sea views and shore walks.

Come to Hermanus for the sea views and shore walks. You MAY see a whale or two. Lovely drives with restaurants and coffee shops up and down the coast. Excellent mall for all your shopping needs. Interesting shops in the main street area. Well worth a stop to visit. The Hemel en Aarde valley is spectacular and Bosman's Winery is a must for wine tasting and charcuterie boards.

What a wonderful town, we visited 30 years ago and had to go back for our anniversary just to discover how much it expanded! We were priviledged to see whales and loved the Waterfront and surrounding restaurants. Absolutely loved the Hemel en Aarde Valley with surrounding wine farms, loved La Vierge and they made it so special when they heard it was our anniversary, brought us champagne to celebrate.

Hermanus is a stunning little town that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring! From the charming shops in the city centre to the wonderful restaurants and cafes, it truly is a special place to visit. We walked along the cliffs, admired the beautiful flowers, and watched so many whales enjoying the bay - whale season is truly a unique and unforgettable experience. We had a delicious dinner at Char’d and will definitely be back! We also visited some incredible wine farms, including Hamilton Russell Vineyards, La Vierge Wines, and Bouchard Finlayson Winery, to name a few. We loved the Hermanus Saturday market and found it easy to get around the town, especially if you have your own car. Hermanus is definitely a place worth visiting.

Love that it was central and in walkable distance to most places in Hermanus Also loved the fact that it was situated above a Checkers centre- very accessible. The unit was exceptional, everything was to my liking. I was so impressed with everything. It was a hotel but it felt very homey. Wish I booked an extra night but will definitely be back
