Very special , amazing house for ourselves in beautiful back garden. Peaceful, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was the best we ever had !!!! Owner super friendly , told us all about the special built of the house and the area. Amazing garden !!! We loved our stay and would definetely come back !

Everything was perfect. The welcoming of Cherryl when we arrived was great even though we were to late. The appartement was above our expectations. The peace and quiet at the buckhouse and heidelberg. Cherryl gave us tips for places to visit, restaurants , ... Everything we needed to know any questions she always had the answer. And she was great with the kids also. Cherryl and her husband are really the most friendly hosts we ever met

What an excellent idea to book this magical place for one night. Chris the owner, was in Heidelberg by chance, met us and drove ahed of us to the villa. He gave us a great tour around the large property, which was a good idea, because the weather turned for the worse and we wouldn't have seen these beautiful vistas on the day of departure. Chris told us that he and his neighbour take good care of these large parcels of land, which mostly remain off bounds to tourists, are kept in their natural state and all non-indigenous trees are being removed. Our grandkids loved the villa's music-room and the biljart table. We all enjoyed being in this quiet, peaceful property that was filled with the owner's pieces of art, gathered from all or the world. We really felt that we were staying in someone's private home instead of in a holiday rental. Of course, as always, the big mistake was ,only book it for one night...

Typical South African Breakfast, Cafe, Tea, Milk, some cereals all what you need On sunday nearly everything is closed in Heidelberg but our host offered as a nice pasta dish with wine for a price close to nothing. We had an exceptional evening together We loved the outside shower The prices reflect the age of the building but, the service of the owner is outstanding.

Very convenient, on the main-but very quite, bed was def one of the most comfortable beds i slept on at Holiday/Guesthouses. Stayed here for the marathon, Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, in the countryside with total peace, seclusion and safety. Linda and Piet were such welcoming hosts and everything we needed was provided. Afternoon swims, roaring fires in the evenings, soaring mountains and horse riding after a delicious breakfast...this place is perfection.

The host Rona is so lovely, we felt so welcomed by her straight away. The cottage had everything we needed, a lovely shower and very comfortable bed. It is right on the N2 but you can’t hear it from the cottages at all. The farm is beautiful - we would love to stay here again!
