We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect – the accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and we felt welcome from the very first moment. It has been a wonderful place to stay, whether for a short or long time. The house is beautiful, located in the middle of a farm and right in front of the elephants’ reserve path. Every day, when they walk by, you can see them in the distance while comfortably enjoying your breakfast. The house itself is truly charming and comfortable. Everything was new, and we found all the essentials we may need. But the best part is the owners. They are lovely people who showed us around the farm and shared their stories with us. They are fascinating, kind, and make you want to keep listening and learning more. Anyone who loves animals or plants would truly enjoy hearing them talk and witnessing their love and care for their animals. It has been a real pleasure meeting them. Thank you for your kind gestures, and especially for the handmade bread and marmalade you left for us in the house—they were absolutely delicious! We felt as comfortable as if we were with close friends.

A truly special place. The setting is just beautiful, in a peaceful valley, a few steps from a quietly flowing river bordered by lush greenery. Lots of trees, a private garden, abundant bird life all create a sense of deep calm. The space feels completely removed from the noise of the world, yet it’s just a short drive to restaurants, activities & Plettenberg Bay. The cottage is very comfortable for an extended stay, with high quality bedding & linen. The hosts are gracious, kind and respectful of privacy, and clearly take pride in maintaining such a beautiful space.

The cottage is lovely, the rooms are very well looked after and are comfortable, big and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Very thoughtful and attentive hosts!! Wonderful place to stay would definitely go back.

This is a fantastic place for nature lovers! If you're looking for a hotel in the city center, this is not the spot for you. However, it was absolutely perfect for us. Peaceful, with breathtaking views, and equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal or enjoy a braai. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This was our favorite accommodation during our entire stay in South Africa—our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
