Beautiful location. Such a nice spot for winter and summer. When we arrived on a very cold evening, the fireplace were started for us. 2 comfortable and decently sized bedrooms with on suites and a nice braai on the patio. It was a lovely stay.

We loved the quirkiness of the hotel that was its real charm. The art on the walls and all the decor had real charm and character. There is a proper bar area where on one evening they had a very good pianist playing. You definitely get the feeling that the hotel is something of a hub for the village and community and a lot of activity centres around it. Some of the rooms are bigger and nicer than others, and we were able to change ours to a nicer more spacious one. Staff were very accommodating and helpful and we’re able to advise and arrange lots for us to do- on that don’t miss a dip in the local fresh water river - a wonderful start to our day! Breakfast was really delicious with lots of variety. Garden and pool area was very pretty and a lovely place to relax as well.

Tery and Ren take great pride in being the perfect hosts: discrete when possible, at the ready when needed. The cottage really contained every little utensil you could need and is perfect for a longer stay. Loved the attention to detail, the decoration, the book selection... and the homemade welcome nibbles! I will be back!

So many to mention. The room was a lot bigger and nicer than expected. It had a generous size bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower. It also had an equipped kitchen and dining table. And there was a POOL. This was in an established garden with lovely trees. We also loved the COMFORT of the property. I also have to add, on the morning of departing our car wouldn’t start. Sterna was a godsend. She organised everything for us even the use of her husband’s car to pop into the town.

Place looks really nice and cozy. Too big for 2 people for 1 night maybe but we enjoyed it. Easy contact and check in instructions via whatsapp. Right on the Route 62 so perfect stopover during roadtrip.
