My sister and I had a wonderdul stay at Eirene's place. Don and Carol were very lovely and kind — their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast was wonderful, one of the best we’ve ever had. Our room was very comfortable and offered a stunning view over the ocean. As a special bonus, we even spotted a baby whale from the veranda — an unforgettable experience! We would love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

The house is just lovely and well located near restaurants, beautiful beaches and amenities. It is well kitted, spacious and has a wonderful homely feel, First class safety and cleanliness, friendly reception and communication from the keyholder and owners Lovely views and whale sightings in the bay!

Easy to access any beach.

Easy to access any beach. We enjoyed Buitesteen Restaurant and Marietjies Pub in Baardskeerdersbos. It is a must for every visitor. We enjoyed walking from Franskraal to Uilenkraalmond. It feels very safe to be in De Kelders.

Fantastic view, comfortable & clean. Friendly and helpful hosts, Lesley & Tim. Great to walk on walkway along coast and other paths down to the rocks. Had some good meals at JT's kitchen in Gans bay and The Great white House in Klein bay. Able to chill and relax.

A very quiet and safe residential neighbourhood, and a more desirable part of the larger busy area of Gansbaai. Very little in de Kelders itself in the way of eateries, bars, shops - the best restaurant being JT's Kitchen just round the corner. Supermarkets, petrol stations, fast food and restaurants etc are in the centre of Gansbaai -a short drive away. We specifically needed to be in de Kelders for personal family reasons, but probably wouldn't normally choose it as a base for a holiday. On the other hand, for peace and quiet it's the better place to be.

It is a lovely peaceful coastal town with the most beautiful Suzi restaurant at the harbor. best Samon roses ever. The beaches are awesome with lovely shells to collect including perlemoen shells. The big hole is a little walk to reach but there are the most refreshing waterfalls along the way. De Kelder's is very close to gans baai where you can view the fisherman returning after their catch and in-between adore the stingray that swim around the harbor. There is also the 100 year old oak tree that is absolutely awesome to behold.

We really loved the place! And would always come back again. De Kelders is a quiet little town, that is perfect for whale watching. For sunset we sat on the rocks and watched the whales. The accommodation is amazing. We had everything we needed and felt so comfortable. We could see the sunset from the terrace and see the ocean. The host and his little dog were so lovely. He gave us a lot of suggestions on what to do in the area and where to eat. We just can recommend this accommodation!

Our hosts were super sweet & helpful. Everything is easy to use, directions for lock up super clear. The view is just gorgeous, beds super comfy, a great shower! Microwave and fridge is a plus! Loved the safe car parking. They were also super accommodating with our check in arrangements. All in all great. Definitely staying again for my next work trip to De Kelders. Thank you!
