We loved everything about the Stoke House! It is located a very short drive away from the center of town, so close to everything Clarens has to offer. We had the main house and a smaller room adjacent to the house. It was perfect for our group. The main house had everything you could need and perfect for self-catering. Lindsey was super easy to communicate with and she was very attentive during our stay. We collected the keys at the brewery and couldn't help but to try the local Clarens brew and have a meal at the same time. Delicious! We will definitely stay at the Stoke House on our future travels through Clarens and the Golden Gate Park!

Love the art shops and all the little restaurants. Restaurant highlights : The rooster - lovely views, good service, excellent service - try the cheese fondue if you don’t want a lot Treat restaurant - more upmarket and fine quisine. Delicious, beautiful restaurant and excellent service- even from the chef himself. Enjoyed some beer at the Brewery and whiskey at the Highlander whiskey and gin bar - the latter one just lacking in service and atmosphere.

This place is situated in the best spot (central). The proactive communication allows easy transition/check-in. I absolutely loved the attention to detail, the cleanliness and the coffee bar was on point. The extra blanket and throws came in handy as it was raining. The views were breathtaking and the energies just so calm. We truly loved the stay and would like to do it again soon.

I noticed after a busy day in the town, that the next day...

I noticed after a busy day in the town, that the next day the town was neat and clean. No litter lying around. The hiking trails in Clarens is well maintained - therefore we do not mind paying the fee for hiking there. Please take into consideration paying for the hiking trails via card. We don't really travel with cash these days. The surrounding area is also great , with a lot of hidden treasures to go and visit.

Patchamhouse….

Patchamhouse….Beautiful rooms with exquisite attention to detail. Breakfast table looked like a pretty picture..and was absolutely yummy. Tim and Johan went out of their way to make us comfortable. We have stayed there before and will definitely stay there again.

The location is just outside of Clarens and a quick 5 min drive into the town square. The host was very welcoming ,friendly and the property is lovely. Great view of the Maluti mountains and also a quick 15 minute drive into Golden Gate National Park. It's a small self catering cottage on residential property with braai facilities, wifi and a small kitchenette which is perfect if you not looking to make huge meals whilst vacationing.

Habitat is in walking distance to Clarens Center, which is a "safe" town. The accommodation is really nice and has all what is needed for a self catering accom. Beds are comfy and there was absolutely nothing to complain. This place is highly recommendable!!
