Like stepping back into a more genteel world. The room was exquisite with fresh flowers and antiques - I’ve never had sheets of such quality in my life before. The food was absolutely top notch fine dining, four courses including fresh asparagus in a delicate sauce and fillet done to your specifications. Breakfast also 5 stars. Service all incredible. Treat yourselves!

Breakfast was outstanding as was dinner. Willem was an exceptional host Loved seeing all the game.... they interrupted our dinner which was delightful but it landed up being a bit drawn out after a long days travel.

It was the 3rd time at 3 Queen Street and the 4th time is already booked It will be difficult to find any better place to stay anywhere - this accom. is perfect and the main reason, why we travel so often to Calitzdorp. Other comments shows that we are not wrong. Another plus is the 100m to walk to Boplaas winery and also the Dorphuis Restaurant is in walking distance. When being in Calitzdorp do not miss to visit the museum on the sam road, which is run by the locals and gives soooo many information about the city history.

The Blue Lily Retreat is amazing and and a great value-for-money stay if you want to experience the real, off-the-beaten- track Swartberg mountains. This is a real family stay and the hosts extremely accommodating and kind. Our daughter didn’t want to leave as she befriended the hosts dogs and cat. Highly recommend!
