The owner is very hands on. There was a cable stolen in the area, and he went over and above to ensure all rooms had sufficient power and access to all amenities. Comfortable and clean accommodation and very accommodating staff.

Afrique Boutique Hotel is tastefully and beautifully decorated. Great care taken has been in pulling everything together, from the decor to the lovely gardens through to the rooms. The rooms are spacious and decorated with luxury in mind. Huge, comfortable beds! The food was delicious, we did not leave the property for meals, the menu was superb, especially for those that love a good steak. However, there were vegetarian and other great dishes too! The staff are helpful and attentive. A great hotel and we will be back again for sure!

All staff were so friendly. Very polite, flexible. We flew in from China that morning very early, and they were great at making sure we knew where to go, how to check in, just really warm and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome, the braai area was great for the evening. Mall right close too. This is our new go to place in JHB!

Its always a pleasure to be at their home. No loadshedding, close to several malls, with Atlas mall just 3 mins walk away. Kitchen has all you need, the bathroom is beautiful and sparkling clean. Its a total package. You blink, you miss.

I loved the guest house, I had booked for 1 night just to check out the place in case the pictures were exaggerating but upon my arrival I had to extend my stay. There is a beautiful garden to unwind and read a book after a long day. It really offers you a home away from home.

The location is perfect closer to a lot of facilities like East Rand Mall which is so enormous and has a variety of stores from food stores to pharmaceuticals like dischem and clicks. Additionaly, Boksburg has lovely attractions and different activities which one can engage in to create fun lasting memories. 👌💯

Area has deteriorated hugely in just the last 3 years since my last visit. It has become one glorified squatter camp with filth everywhere, few robots working, lines on roads barely visible and people living and working on the pavements. Old indoor people that was a great feature in old SA now looking like a dump. whole road from Benoni to Brakpan filled with shacks forcing you to drive off the road through shacks to get to Brakpan. UNbeleivable and they still vote these theives in to power.

im not satisfied once more .yesterday i called the management of stay in kodge who said she is in cape town.my reason for calling was that i booked a roon for a couple.i then paid for a night R350 .then after having left i decided to extend their term of stay of which i did with booking .com and i indicated in my booking that it is for the same people. The following day when the visitors have to use the room as amended they were first chased out without first checking their systerm.and when i call the management iwas told that there is no booking then i forwaded the proof to the management. I even requested a respond with explanation and there were no respond. i found that my quests were given accomodation.nothing was communicated as to whether they found payments or none.then today the 9th october 2024 late again my quests were denied to enter the premises they were told im owing R200. i feel this is an unfair and unprophesional customer service.i think i should have been called and explained of the outstanding R200 and further clarity as to what courses the R200 addition meanwhile online i paid to date.i think the lodge should have communicated with me immidiately they get the booking from booking.com but the practise which they applied is not good ,i refered many people to this lodge even now there are many who was refered by me. but well this lesson have opened my eyes. hoping they will improve if they respect thir customers. its fine i rest my case here and the additional payment demanded without explanation is made. from Mzamani L Maluleke 0799041999

I liked the area was quiet. Clean.

I liked the area was quiet. Clean. Close to shopping centre from the accommodation. And I enjoyed the Papachinos in Sunward Park. My guest said she will drive from Pretoria to there with her family it was so good.

Very convenient to everything in the area.

Very convenient to everything in the area. Plenty of things to do, see and experience. The Birchwood has an amazing restaurant for fine dining. In amd around the .area there are many places to catch a quick and delicious bite.

The room was adequately big for our comfort. It had all the amenities we needed. We also liked the breakfast. The availability of everything breakfast was phenomenal. It's not a problem what kind of breakfast one wants. The fact that the hotel is near the Boksburg CBD is such a bonus.
