What a lovely lodge. Carol and Nigel were excellent hosts always insuring I was comfortable and well taken care of. My guide Victor thrilled me every day with exciting game drives. I saw the big five as well as a pack of wild dogs!!! The food was five star and the house staff very professional. Pool was very clean as well as the whole facility. It was a relaxing three day stay. Such a peaceful place. I returned rejuvenated. Thank you so much for an experience that was over the top. I recommend this for solo travelers.

Between safari rides comfortable rooms, shady spots across the camp and the pool provide the perfect setting for reading and relaxation. With just three rooms at Chacma, you’re guaranteed a much more intimate experience than staying at a bigger location. As a solo traveller the real highlight was the friendly and fun team behind Chacma: Matt, Josh and Charlie are fantastic, passionate guides who guaranteed that each trip out provided memorable, safe experiences while Karen, Lynx and the wider team at Chacma ensured a comfortable stay. You’ll learn so much from this team and they are only too happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. A special place I can’t wait to return to.

The property is beautiful and in the perfect location. In our 3 night say we had visits by Elephants,Bush Buck,Kudu, Hippo,Giraffe, were woken each morning by a family of Baboons and saw Crocodile in the river and Wild Dogs on the other bank. Absolutely fantastic The hosts are amazing and the food was perfect.

Beautiful safari lodge with excellent staff and stunning game drives. Thomas (our main game driver) was excellent and made the drives so much fun. Whilst we unfortunately didn’t see a leopard (due to the numerous lions and elephants pushing them out), we were lucky to see all of the other big 5 on numerous occasions, including lion cubs! The accommodation was the ultimate glamping - comfy beds, in an air conditioned tent with an en-suite power shower. There was also a veranda overlooking the bush and watering hole to spot the animals. The food exceeded all expectations - as a vegetarian I was also looked after for every meal with thoughtful and delicious dishes. The sundowners at the viewpoint overlooking the African sunset cannot be beaten. I wholeheartedly recommend this lodge for any type of traveller looking for a South African safari.

We had the most amazing experience at Muweti. Hardus was incredible - friendly, caring and so knowledgeable & passionate about animals. We saw many wonderful animals and we learnt so much from Hardus & Byron our amazing guides. The lodge itself is lovely - clean, spacious and with a brilliant campfire at night! A real highlight of the lodge is being able to look out into the vast bush and even see some animals come up to the watering hole close by (we saw a herd of elephants!) To anyone considering this lodge: you should definitely book your stay here - I guarantee you won’t regret it!

I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at iMbamuweti cottage! The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need as I was self-catering. The location was perfect—peaceful, idyllic and wildlife walking literally outside the fence. As hosts, Mike and Laura were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and I especially loved relaxing in the private garden next to the splash pool. The cottage was cleaned daily, and a fire made up for me outside each day. Game drives were organised through the main lodge and I did two of these in the afternoons and had incredible sightings with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

It's my second time staying at Khiwane and it was once again amazing. The rooms are very spacious, there is a lot of space and the beds are very comfortable. There are a few restaurants around that are very good and it's close to the center of Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in beautiful Hoedspruit !

we stayed at the lodge the whole time we were at kruger, and it was super safe and beautiful, the days were planned amazingly well. next time i will bring a better camera, binoculars and a nicer hat! The stargazing was immense, we saw the whole milky way!

Amazing game drives given by Paul from Maninghi Lodge.

Amazing game drives given by Paul from Maninghi Lodge. He is the most knowledgable guide we have ever had. His passion and love for the bush is infectious! We thoroughly enjoyed our drives with him, and he was a large part of what made our stay so great!
