We visited Halo Retreat while touring Vietnam on our motorcycles. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to our host who guided us to a mechanic to fix an issue with one of our bikes. Our room was clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, the evening meal we had was delicious and I have high praise for our friendly and helpful hosts. I also enjoyed the location, which was peaceful and close to nature. Many thanks for a rememberable stay.

The rooms are great. The views are stunning. It is a long way from town though so not much to do other than take in the scenery. We ended up walking to the lake a 16km round journey.

This was a good value hotel on the edge of a small town. Most of the back packers stay in homestays in the villages, so the town itself is unspoilt. Great views across the fields, but some noise from the main road, although fairly quiet at night. The hotel was super friendly and helpful, giving us directions for a cycle tour which was amazing to see the countryside and rural life. Also helped booking a trip to Pu Luong, laundry and airport transfer. Big beds too. We enjoyed our stay.

I had a truly memorable stay at Cọ Retreat. The location is remote but incredibly peaceful – surrounded by mountains, forests, and overlooking the Da River. It's the perfect place to unplug and slow down. The bungalows are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully built with natural materials. I especially loved waking up to the sound of birds and watching the mist roll over the lake in the morning – absolutely magical! Staff were kind and helpful, always making sure we felt comfortable. Meals were simple but delicious, with fresh local ingredients and traditional flavors. If you're looking for a place to relax, read a book, enjoy nature, or just breathe deeply – this is it. A hidden gem worth discovering.

We arrived as family of four with two bicycle and two children after dark and were immediately helped with all our luggage etc. In general, The personell was extremely helpful and nice to all of us. But exceptional was Mr. Xuan Long, who drove us around in the park and took care of us. He has an exceptional voice too and is a star singer. Thank you!!! The Meddom park was a new experience for us, the park is nicely set up with love in the detail. The room was small but had everything necessary. We felt comfortable and well remember our time in Meddom park and would like to come again. Thank you very much!
