The hostess was hospitable, she met me and gave me tea, despite the fact that I arrived very late. She is very nice and Friendly. and it is obvious that she loves her home very much. The house is cozy and nice. In the shower, in addition to hot water, there is a heater - this helped me to warm up quickly after a night trip. The house is located outside the city, so at night you will not hear anything except the croaking of frogs. And in the morning you can enjoy the peace and nature around. A great place to relax. I will be happy to come here again.

This was one of the best, if not the best, hotel so far on this year's Vietnam trip. Great big room. Big bathroom with good hot shower. Everything you might need in the room. Fridge, water cooker, hair dryer etc. And the best thing is - it is quiet, which is unusually for Vietnam. In the evening there are light at the trees outside, and you can sit at the river and chill. Next door is a nice coffee shop with a green garden.

It is an oasis in the middle of a city, relaxed atmosphere, green everywhere it feels like you’re in a mountain hostel but you’re close enough on a walking distance to some places to eat. There’s not too much to do in this area but the Thac Ba lake, that probably in a few years will be a highlight in the country, and some other activities they offer, also they rent motorbikes. Awesome chill place to rest, I booked one night but ended up staying four, they offered me to upgrade my room for a bit extra money and the difference of the quality was enormous, big room, huge bed with AC, lovely areas to chill with good wifi everywhere. They speak good English. I could spend a whole week there but unfortunately I had to go. Last day the guy and me had an interesting conversation about the tea trees in Vietnam that I really appreciate as he told me many curiosities about it. Also there’re cats everywhere they all look the same but if not wrong he said there’s around 15 cats + babies.

We loved our room, loads of space. The hosts are some of the nicest most interesting people we've met on our trip. The dinners and breakfasts were incredible food and great value for money. Home cooked by one of the hosts and lovely. We shared dinner with the hosts and other guests and had lovely chats. Also really accommodating for vegetarian diets. The hosts organised a day trip to the Lake for us, booking taxis and a boat. A really lovely stopping point between Sapa and Hanoi. If you stay in Yên Bai stay here.

Tbis is one of the best homestay experiences I have had in Vietnam!!! The family makes you feel like a part their family offering you dinner, helping with anything you need and giving you ideas for the rest of your trip you might not have thought about in the North. This place is simple, more suited for one or two nights on your way around Vietnam. As a motorcycle tourist this place was perfect for my overnight stay from Sapa to Ha Noi. The staff are fantastic, and will do their best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable 😊 The cabin is stand alone so no neighbour noise which is good and there's a huge parking area. Locally you will find a few restaurants, convenience stores and plenty of helpful locals. I would definately stay here again on future rides.

Good and comfortable for a quick overnight stay en route to Sa Pa. Please note that the property is not on Google Maps and the coordinates given on Booking.com to copy are incorrect. Look up “Chợ Đá Quý Yên Bái” on Google Maps and that is where the guest house is.
