Staying at Maia resort was definitely a highlight of our trip in Vietnam! We spent 2 nights in late December, which is off-season. So here's the detailed review for those who'd like to stay during the winter months. - The room: we stayed in a Garden villa. It felt very nice and spacious for 2 people. More importantly, it felt very private although the room is attached to another villa. - The pool: we did not have a pool for our own but very much enjoyed the common pool for guests. The water might feel a bit cold as there's no heating system, but overall very swimmable. Since it's off-season, no one was at the pool except us. - The tennis court: it opens from 6:00 a.m to 8:00 a.m and is free for guests. This was super nice and we could book anytime we wanted (again, perhaps because it's off-season). We played 3 times and really enjoyed it. The rackets and balls were provided by the resort as well. - The restaurant: Very high-quality food and services. Dinners were included in the room price. We chose set menus and they were very well-designed with a good mix of flavors. The breakfast buffet was VERY nice! For hot dishes: super high-quality broth for Pho and other noodles. Really liked it! They cooked very good sticky rice and other food as well. All tasted very fresh and much better than the food we tried later on in another high-end hotel in Da Nang. - The spa: We did not have the opportunity to experience it, mainly due to the time. But they have a good menu of services and reasonable price. - The staff: Very nice and helpful! I'm surprised how quickly they acted on our questions. For instance, when I called asking about the water in the shower not being warm enough, they sent the maintenance team to us very quickly and the problem was solved within a good amount of time. - The surrounding: The ocean was very wavy and not swimmable, unfortunately. However, we could walk around the surroundings, which is nice.

The resort is very beautiful with great location. The staffs are very enthusiastic. They were extremely caring, they were always ready to greet you with a smile and to cater your every needs. The villa room is beautiful, clean and has a nice swimming pool. The spa area is beautiful and the staff is professional. Food in the restaurant was delicious. It is a small piece of paradise.

Crown Retreat Quy Nhon is located at a great location with mixture of beatiful seaview and long sandy beach. The room is fully equiped with anything we need for our getaway trip, balcony with sunlight, bed with quality matress with sofa and make-up/ working table. Small amentities provided in the room like umbrella and straw hats are also really thoughtful.
