Excellent reviews fully deserved We were at the hotel for 4 days And it was so nice. the staff was very friendly, and they speak good english. The rooms were also amazing. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked good. And we also liked the pool, the water in it was very hot and was so good swimming in it. And the food was delicious credit to the cook. Now we can leave with good memories from Carl-Emil 9 years old , Storm 12 years old, Villads 14 years old and Lauge 15 years old

The location was amazing, set in between two mountains with a waterfall outside the rooms. Facilities were super clean and Tom was super helpful with our stay and helped us book a tour to see the local sights. Very tranquil and quiet stay just 5 minutes away from tam coc centre.

We loved everything! We stayed 4 nights, the family is very nice and friendly, you can rent easy a scooter and have free bikes. It‘s not in the center of Tam Coc, but it‘s 10 minutes by walk.

Very good home stay, Thai met us on arrival and helped us with checking in, arranging breakfast and transport for local attractions and also transport to return to Hanoi. this is an excellent location near to all local attractions . We also borrowed bikes and cycled around local area.

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town next to Ninh Binh. We stayed for 6 nights total and there were lots of things to do around. Pagodas, tamples, lots of caves, boat tours through those caves, Hang Mua view. I can definitely recommend it.

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly...

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.

We stayed in Tam Coc which is the centre of all of the activity. Touristy, but worth it, beautiful place, lots to see and do. Don't miss the Tam Coc boat tour but leave first thing in the morning to be on the river by yourself and to watch the Lotus flower open. Stunning boat trip. The viewpoint is great but avoid going up to the dragon as it can be dangerous near the top. A must see is the gardens - take the time to go out and walk around, absolutely stunning. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone. The scenery is just spectacular.

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills...

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills forests and rivers. The Trang An river complex is a must see and Id recommend it over the Tam Coc anyday. The Trang An boat ride is approx 2.5 to 3 hrs and takes you through at least three water caves one of which is about 2omin long..its a once in a lifetime wondrous experience. Dont miss the Thung Nam bird park ..another beautiful hushded boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyable and Beautiful visit..not to be missed.

Pretty Speccy Scenery Yeah, Ninh Binh’s not bad at all. The landscapes are the real drawcard — all those limestone karsts and rice paddies make for a pretty magic view, especially if you hire a bike and cruise around. The boat trips through the rivers and caves are chilled and worth doin’. It’s heaps quieter than Hanoi, which is a nice break, though there’s not a huge amount going on after dark. You’re here for the scenery, not a big night out. Some of the tourist spots can feel a bit same-same after a while, and getting between ’em without a scooter or tour is a bit of a mission. Accommodation’s fine — nothing flash, but you’ll get a clean room and a cold beer without much fuss. Food’s simple but tasty, especially if you like fresh herbs and grilled stuff. All up, Ninh Binh’s a good spot for a couple of days if you’re keen on some easy-going nature and don’t mind a rustic vibe. Worth a look if you’re passing through — just don’t expect anything too polished. Chuck on a hat and some sunscreen, and you’ll be right.

The hotel is located about 6kms from Ninh Binh closer to Tam Coc (the tourist area). We got a free upgrade to a suite, which was a beautiful room with a balcony at the front of the hotel. The rooftop pool was lovely and the view from up there is magical. We also enjoyed a jacuzzi which was complimentary. We hired Motorcycles and rode around the countryside which was awesome. An easy ride on a bicycle to Tam Coc for bars and restaurants. Nice breakfast as well.

Lovely people, very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect (calm but not too far from Tam coc with a car or by bike if needed). Easy to find a Grab to bring you wherever you want you from the homestay. You can visit some pagodas by walking directly from the homestay (Bich dong and Linh coc). They can arrange easily transfer from the Ninh binh train station or Hanoi airport. The beds are comfortable and the room has all the equipment you need.

the facility is super close to the Main Street of Ninh Binh / Tam Coc so that everything is near by. the rooms were clean and the owner is just an absolute sweetheart. he was so lovely and helped us out in so many things. also, we have had the best breakfast so far during our 2 weeks in Vietnam - the pancakes were just soooo good!
