Everything was perfect. Awesome location, great staff and unique accomodation. As it is a little bit out of the main centre to properly enjoy it you should either be able to ride motorbike or bicycle. Bicycle hire was free and the roads are quiet so very nice to bike around to the attractions. On site restaurant and food was also great.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Everything about it was perfect — the place is unbelievably cute, with a stunning pool and breathtaking views. The location is excellent: just a short walk to the center, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet setting. We stayed in a beautiful bungalow with a super comfortable bed — every detail was thoughtfully designed. The breakfast was beyond amazing: fresh fruit juices, generous portions, and absolutely delicious. We were welcomed with a lovely platter of fresh fruit and spoiled with small gestures throughout our stay — including complimentary evening foot baths! The team was the most attentive and caring I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. I loved every second of it. Thank you for everything!

After finishing the Ha Giang Loop, I arrived at the bus station at 4 a.m., completely exhausted and sick. The hotel manager stayed in contact with me throughout the night, made sure I arrived safely, called to check on me, and even picked me up himself at 4 a.m. with my big suitcase. The place is absolutely idyllic – peaceful, quiet, and away from the crowds. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and the bed incredibly comfortable. I was able to truly rest and recover here. A wonderful place with the most caring and kind staff. Highly recommended.

The beds are super comfy! The room is very clean no bugs either which was a win! The staff are very helpful. We got to use the cycling bikes for free whenever we wanted and we could also hire a motorbike and the price was a decent price. The area is nice and quiet not near loud music it’s a very nice area and there is a gym not far away either. I recommend if you want to stay somewhere comfy and not it a loud area. Food places are not far away and the shops are pretty close as well. Also Netflix in the room which is a win

Loved the whole place! The moment I stepped foot through the beautiful creeping fig covered gate opening and charming wooden door, I was mesmerised. Lush plantations surrounding the lit up pool in the centre with a two storey, 10 bedrooms villa u-shaped building, creating a very cozy and relaxing short holiday stay.

Truly beautiful location! The staff is warm and helpful. The breakfast is quite large with lots of fruits, drinks, bread, and you can order mains. The room is very nice and large, with a router inside the room and stable internet. Actually, the first time I ever saw an internet router in a room was amazing. Therefore, remote work is made easy. Bicycles are easy and free. The pool is open 247 and the views are the best you can get. I highly recommend.

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town...

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town next to Ninh Binh. We stayed for 6 nights total and there were lots of things to do around. Pagodas, tamples, lots of caves, boat tours through those caves, Hang Mua view. I can definitely recommend it.

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly...

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.

We stayed in Tam Coc which is the centre of all of the activity. Touristy, but worth it, beautiful place, lots to see and do. Don't miss the Tam Coc boat tour but leave first thing in the morning to be on the river by yourself and to watch the Lotus flower open. Stunning boat trip. The viewpoint is great but avoid going up to the dragon as it can be dangerous near the top. A must see is the gardens - take the time to go out and walk around, absolutely stunning. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone. The scenery is just spectacular.

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills forests and rivers. The Trang An river complex is a must see and Id recommend it over the Tam Coc anyday. The Trang An boat ride is approx 2.5 to 3 hrs and takes you through at least three water caves one of which is about 2omin long..its a once in a lifetime wondrous experience. Dont miss the Thung Nam bird park ..another beautiful hushded boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyable and Beautiful visit..not to be missed.

Pretty Speccy Scenery Yeah, Ninh Binh’s not bad at all. The landscapes are the real drawcard — all those limestone karsts and rice paddies make for a pretty magic view, especially if you hire a bike and cruise around. The boat trips through the rivers and caves are chilled and worth doin’. It’s heaps quieter than Hanoi, which is a nice break, though there’s not a huge amount going on after dark. You’re here for the scenery, not a big night out. Some of the tourist spots can feel a bit same-same after a while, and getting between ’em without a scooter or tour is a bit of a mission. Accommodation’s fine — nothing flash, but you’ll get a clean room and a cold beer without much fuss. Food’s simple but tasty, especially if you like fresh herbs and grilled stuff. All up, Ninh Binh’s a good spot for a couple of days if you’re keen on some easy-going nature and don’t mind a rustic vibe. Worth a look if you’re passing through — just don’t expect anything too polished. Chuck on a hat and some sunscreen, and you’ll be right.

Phoc got in touch with me way before we travel to check in advance what we need. In the end, he has helped to arranged for transport from a hotel in Hanoi to Tam Coc and later from Tam Coc back to Hanoi airport at 2am. He surprised us by having to stay in the hotel making sure that our transport arrived on time to take us to the airport. Throughout our stay, he has been very helpful including arranging for transport to go about in Tam Coc and recommending restaurants for meals. In short, he has made our stay in Tam Coc memorable.

The surroundings are beautiful ! The view from the pool and even from the room terrace is stunning. It is calm and away from the noise of Tam Coc City hustle (they are right next to the Bich Dong Pagoda). Best way to go around is to rent a motorcycle, but they also lend bikes for free. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful, and so is their dog. The hotel manager helped me buy special batteries for my analogue camera that i couldn’t find by myself in Ninh Binh town. That was super nice of him !

Location was amazing - centred in the middle of tam coc, plenty of food options nearby. Hotel provided breakfast which was very delicious. Owner was very accomodating - helped us arrange transportation to various places in Ninh Binh and to the airport when we left. The stay was really good value.

The room is spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect, in the center of Ninh Binh and easy to reach the famous landmark such as Trang An or Tam Coc. The owner is nice and kind. This hotel is suitable for cat lovers since there are 3 cute and friendly cats.
