This stay started high and ended even higher. During the check in we received a complimentary lemonade with a variety of fresh fruit as well as a wet towel that was scented and couldn't come at a better time to wipe off the journey. To start with the room it was comfortable, clean, modern and most of all the sleep was blissful. The rooftop bar with the pool provided amazing views and delicious drinks. The breakfast was delicious and the variety was excellent, as well as the atmosphere, which was chic and modern. BUT the most praise deserves the personnel, they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, from packing a breakfast box with coffee as we were unable to attend some breakfast to providing a complimentary drink AND transport to the airport as unfortunately we had to cut our stay short.That kind of service makes this hotel one of the most enjoyable.

We booked 2 nights and extend it for 3 more :) Stuff is so nice and kind, always welcome us with big smile and they help you with anything you need. Stuff always helps you to catch the elevator and you do not wait long for it (as the other reviews are complaining). Check in and check out was simple and professional handled. Room was spacious, bed was THE BEST and the biggest I ever seen in hotels. We slept like babies in the room. Room has very good noise isolation and you do not hear noises from the crowded streets. Location is perfect, everything is near and easy access with Grab. Roof top pool and place is breathtaking, relaxing and view of the city from 26th floor is AMAZING. We were spending a lot of time there and admire daily view and sunsets from here. Breakfast is great, a lot of options to eat and also room service and pool service of food is delicious. Best option in Ho Chi Minh, you have to book your stay here!

This is the best place I found in District one after travelling many times to HCMC. A very small hotel in a very quite side road but right in the middle of the D1 action! The service is great including a breakfast that has all the classic western items and any asian dish you want (but you have to ask for it the day before). The rooms are well equipped in great shape and the best is very confortable. Wifi is truly high speed (100MBs). The free laundry feature was new for me but very helpful so a bit of saving on that front too. Finally the service is very friendly and helpful. All in all, this is our new place in HCMC D1 and we will certainly be back,

The city is busy, busy, busy.

The city is busy, busy, busy. The colonial history and architecture, make for some good sight seeing. Most attractions are fairly central, with the Independence Palace and Army Museum giving a good insight to the countries recent history. Food is fabulous and the SH Garden restaurant is highly recommended.

Busy, Busy City Vibrant if you stay in the right district a little unwelcoming & full on if you stay in the likes of D5 Chinatown. "Tourist" district is definitely D1. I didn't love the food here as much as I thought I was thinking more flavourful like Thailand but it's a little more basic and local than that. Highlights Ice Coffee I didn't love egg coffee that's more of a dessert. Sugar Cane drink Food was just survivable for me. Loved the Cu Chi Tunnels interesting & informative moderate challenge on the knees 😆 Did not rate Remnants Museum especially in the morning as school groups go through, disrespectful, loud and completely detracts from the feeling you expect to have. Mekong River Tour not bad cool River, big and industrious the meal was ok but cold. Oh and at the Tunnels firing the AK47 was a highlight even though I'm not a gun person interesting to know the power of them. The people of HCM are polite although not the friendly, smiling people I expected but that's because it's a business area. Grab Scooters are awesome I'm 51 felt very safe definitely get the app. Overall good place worth seeing. I wouldn't come back but glad I visited 5 days would be ample.

Ho Chi Minh City: An Energetic Assault on the Senses HCMC is... a lot. In a fascinating, exhausting, full-throttle kind of way. It’s not a relaxed vacation, but more of an experience. The energy is undeniable. The streets are a mesmerizing chaos of motorbikes—crossing the road feels like a mini adventure every time. The food is incredible, whether it’s a perfect bowl of pho from a plastic stool spot or a modern rooftop cocktail. The history, from the War Remnants Museum to the Cu Chi Tunnels, is heavy but important to see. That said, the heat and humidity are no joke—it hits you like a wall. The traffic noise and constant buzz can wear you down after a few days, and the tourist areas around Ben Thanh Market can feel overwhelmingly pushy. It’s a city of stark contrasts. You’ll see a gleaming skyscraper next to a worn colonial building, and a shiny café next to a street vendor grilling meat. It doesn’t always feel cohesive, but it’s never boring. Overall, I’m glad I went. It’s a vibrant, complicated place that makes you think and feel. I’d recommend it for a traveler looking for stimulation and culture, but maybe not for someone seeking a tranquil retreat. Pack your patience, comfortable shoes, and an appetite.

Rooms are very big, and the staff gave us a free upgrade which was lovely! Beds also very comfy, and TV had Netflix to watch. Great location, short walk into District 1. Breakfast had a great variety. Staff were very accommodating of allowing us to check in early as our sleeper bus arrived in a few hours earlier than expecting. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh City.

Annie was a fantastic host—welcoming, responsive, and always ready to assist. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and the beds were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short 5-10 minute drive to the main attractions in District 1. It offered both convenience and a peaceful retreat from the busy city. Highly recommended for a great stay in Ho Chi Minh City!
