Genuinely fell in love with this hotel and the surrounding views and areas. Not only was the outside of the hotel amazing but so was the inside and most importantly the rooms! The size of my room and the balcony exceeded all my expectations, it was grand and so beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and lovely, I honestly don't have one bad word to say about this place. Highly recommend for anyone travelling to Hai Phong.

The room was both brighter and more spacious than the photographs had suggested, which was a most pleasant surprise. Housekeeping does a splendid job; the place was spotless. One must mention the owner's rather idiosyncratic taste. The place is adorned with a curious collection of antiques and vintage pieces, giving it a decidedly old-fashioned air. It all adds a certain character—rather like staying in the slightly eccentric country home of a distant, but well-meaning, relative. All in all, a very agreeable experience.

Hai Pong is very interesting and clean city.

Hai Pong is very interesting and clean city. They have a very lovely big park with plenty of beautiful tropical trees for shades. The walkways are always being swept of leaves. Very wide and easy to walk around. People are very friendly and helpful. Few Cafes around park areas and very pleasant to sit and people watching. On the weekend they have plenty toys for the kids to ride on and very bright and entertaining during the night. Place still have a nice pleasant vibes that is Vietnam is known for. Easy to get around can walk in the park all the way to their famous Cau Tre Canal. Don't forget the Banh My Cay which is Hai Pong is famous for.

Most travelers skip Haiphong. This is a mistake. If you travel to eat, don’t skip Haiphong. The food is interesting, delicious, varied and exceptional. We had the best Pho here that we’ve had in four trips to Vietnam. The people of Haiphong are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The city center has a lovely park running through it. The old colonial architecture is rundown in places but interesting to look at. We stayed out of the old city in a modern development, but would stay in the center next time even though GRAB and the city bus are easy to use.

A dynamically developing city.

A dynamically developing city. The colonial character of its city center is clearly being preserved. It is definitely worth visiting in late May or early June, when the Delonix regia (Firefly) almost covers the city in flames.

Friendly and simple people. Delicious food with unique flavors. Try crab spring rolls, crab rice noodles,... Miss Lun's restaurant at Co Dao market, grilled fish in the Kien wharf area... Traveling by Grab taxi is very good (prices are not as high as in some other big cities), easy to call a car... If you are elderly or have children, you should rent a large room. I always buy some of my favorite items at Aeon Mall.

Lovely and new, very clean and comfortable good pressure of hot water shower gel & shampoo supplied set in a lovely area of Hai phong with lots and lots of great food outlet and Tea and coffee shops. Feels more like France than Vietnam. Second time staying here for New Years eve stayed 3 nights in total due to the great chilled area the hostel is located in. Better than Hanoi due to not many tourist visit Hai phong! which makes the stay more enjoyable as you embrace the real culture of local life in Vietnam.

My experience there was exceptional amazing. The hotel is right in the middle of the city, many restaurants, cafeterias, stores just right next doors and across the street. Staff including the receptionist, housekeeper, guard, everyone were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is very new, even we could smell the new furniture and all the facilities are modern and look like brand new items. Very spacious rooms. I was surprised that the prices were totally affordable. Absolutely come back next time.
