Everything! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home. The family who run the accommodation were all so friendly, gave great recommendations and cooked up the most delicious breakfast. Rudy and his partner (I’m sorry for not remembering her name) were so friendly, welcoming, and happy. They’ve built a wonderful refuge in Punta del Diablo and helped me check on restaurant hours and reservation requirements as well as give me information about the best local beaches to visit. The breakfast was a lovingly prepared set to keep anyone going for a whole day of walking or relaxing on the beach.

Visited Punta del Diablo at the beginning of December, still not high season, not warm enough, and quite empty. One night and one day were enough to visit the village and walk around the beaches! Beware of having cash with you, many lodgings and commerces don't accept credit cards as a payment method. The beaches and landscapes are beautiful, the people are super nice and the village has its own rustic charm.

There is a pool and hot tub. The beach is accessible by car. Facility is old but has all the amenities. Water in sink was cold. Shower fine. We ate at Tano which was very good. Take time to meander the beach and the town-- good photo ops.

It's a comfortable and unique place right on the beach; clean, spacious, and cozy. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, the abundance of kitchen utensils, and the full range of appliances (large refrigerator, combination oven, blender, coffee maker, etc.). It undoubtedly offers the comfort and convenience of a four-star hotel but with the advantages of an independent space.

I really enjoy spending relaxing days in Playa del Carmen.

I really enjoy spending relaxing days in Playa del Carmen. I've been during peak tourist season (March) and also during the off-season (November). I found good services both times. The weather is a bit harsh in November; there were some very windy days and the nights are cooler. Even so, I was able to enjoy long days by the sea. Santa Teresa National Park is definitely a must-see.

We went during the off-season, which turned out to be good because we didn't have any problems with noise, crowds, etc., even though the place seemed quite quiet, even during the peak summer season. You can walk everywhere without needing a car. I recommend the Il Tano restaurant, which is open every day, all year round. Excellent food and service!

We went after a storm, so the streets were almost impassable due to the potholes and gullies formed by the water. After that, everything was spectacular: the people, the beaches, the landscape, the nature, the prices in line with the time of year, a great variety of accommodation. In a word, I love Punta del Diablo.

Sebas is an amazing person, who is open to help you with whatever you need. Also, he makes a super nice breakfast. The only downside is that it is decently far (+-20 min walking) from the "town" where you can get food. But there is a great parrilla nearby, LAPARRILLA Punta del Diablo, which accepts card. Overall, if we are ever in Punta del Diablo again, we would 100% stay at Sebas his place, but would rent a bike to get around.

An original, tasteful and artistic place with the most charismatic hostess Fabiana located at a quite neighborhood of punta diablo near at the most beautiful beaches of the area with high dunes. Fabiana's breakfast is delicious 😋 and accompanied by the sound of birds makes it even more delicious. The balcony is an ideal place to rest and read and just relax. My highlight of Uruguayn. ❤️❤️❤️

This hotel has a comfortable eclectic feel to it. It has a pool and parking. The breakfast was excellent, with many choices. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was large, air conditioned and comfortable. The beach is a walkable distance and yet the owners drove us to the beach with the provided beach chairs and umbrella.

The location was perfect, about 20 steps from the beach and had a large array of bars in restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The rooms were simple but spotlessly clean and had good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was a little bit limited but tasty nonetheless and I found the staff to be very friendly. If I’m back in Punta del Diablo, I would happily stay here again.
