Friendliness of the staff; bingo-game was fun. Nature and birds in the garden, beautiful sunsets; & fun in the pool. In company of couples & families, corporate groups & school groups. Excellent salad bar at the buffet. The town of Paso del Torres offered us a laundry, a cafe and a shopping street.

It was our first time at the establishment, and we arrived through Booking looking for a place to stop over before reaching Montevideo after driving hundreds of kilometers. The result couldn’t have been better: we found a spacious place, impeccably clean, with all services working perfectly. Additionally, it features a green area and a heated pool, ideal for relaxing after a long trip. It’s a highly recommended spot for both couples and families, located just a few meters from the city’s shopping center and the bus terminal. Finally, the included breakfast was the perfect surprise to top off our stay. Without a doubt, an experience we’ll repeat and recommend!

The Hotel FK was a fabulous surprise. Staff was very friendly, the room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. They have a beautiful area in the back with a pool and a real train wagon. I really enjoyed staying one night in this hotel.

A place along the highway to spend the night before...

A place along the highway to spend the night before continuing your journey. There are hardly any tourist attractions. The people aren't as friendly as in other departments or cities in Uruguay. Everything is expensive, well above average, and being so close to Brazil/Argentina, I don't think it's worth it.

A very peaceful town, perfect for relaxing and enjoying some walks or sightseeing in the area. Roncón del Bonete is worth a visit, although we couldn't see the museum because it was closed for renovations. There is an interesting, albeit very modest, river fish aquarium on the grounds.

Very quiet town.

Very quiet town. Avoid arriving between 2 and 4 pm because there's very little activity. Very pretty, with wide avenues, a beautifully designed church, a lovely campground, and many places to stroll. Also worth visiting is the Rincon del Bonete Hydroelectric Plant... I recommend crossing over to the department of Durazno and exploring the beach!

We stumbled upon it and loved it.

We stumbled upon it and loved it. A fantastic place, clearly expanding and growing. With an excellent team and very good management. A top-notch kids' club with dedicated and very helpful professionals. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. If you go with your family, it's a beautiful place with everything you need to enjoy yourself and relax.

A beautiful, clean city with very polite and helpful people.

A beautiful, clean city with very polite and helpful people. There's plenty to see: the Rincón del Bonete Dam, UPM, the Museum of the Indian (run by a very kind gentleman in his own home), and the entire city is surrounded by the Río Negro, with lovely picnic spots.
