The breakfast was middle of the road comfort food. Fresh and warm. The toaster blew a fuse however. It couldn't be fixed because nobody had a key to the room with the fuse box. POOR organizing.

The area is beautiful.
The area is beautiful. We love going down to beach area also the restaurants are amazing. Unfortunately our hotel between the roaches and duct tape for holders to open up cabinets was completely unsatisfying. The beds were very uncomfortable overall that place needs to be redone.

We actually stayed in Nokomis which is near Venice.
We actually stayed in Nokomis which is near Venice. It is laid back and great for couples or solo travelers. Downtown Venice didn't seem very busy or crowded. We just did a drive by in Venice but it didn't look like much was going on midweek.

Very much a retirement community.
Very much a retirement community. Restaurant choices were very much chain, safe and bland. There were roundabouts that were semi traffic circles, which makes them confusing to people who don't use them.

We liked Venice and surrounding areas and the Best Western was in a great spot. Restaurants in the area were very good. The Red Grouper right across the street was a great local hangout with super food and very nice service.

Venice and Nokomis are my favorite places in Florida.
Venice and Nokomis are my favorite places in Florida. It is nice, cozy, friendly people live there and it would be the best place to live and raise your family.
Venice offers lots or restaurant, beaches and shopping opportunities. You can go fishing, jet skiing or rent a boat at any time, visit gators in Snook Haven or do a canoe tour on the Myakka River.
Very nice courtyard and pool. Parking directly out front of each room, which is nice. Small work/lounge space directly outside of each room on the courtyard side, which was perfect for getting work done in the fresh sea breeze outdoors.
Trees and greenery in the courtyard is very nicely maintained and tidy. Pool is spacious enough to stretch your legs, and was able to practice flip turns, which is usually not the case at a hotel pool.
Location is perfect. Right near the supermarket, and 3 minute drive from downtown Venice.
Everything was so clean and perfectly presented in Floridian style. As a host, Cathy has been so attentive to detail and we were generously welcomed with cookies and pastries. The property is at the rear of their own home but it is detached with all its own facilities, just like home from home.It is well situated for beach days or taking a trip to the shops. The garden is secluded and beautifully kept. We highly recommend this holiday home and it’s hosts.
The blue vacation house is in an ideal location half way between downtown Venice and Manasota beach and Siesta beach. The house is clean quirky and has great facilities with lovely outside space. Ewa was extremely helpful and no query was a problem. For us it was the ideal relaxing location for a few days by the beach. Shops very close by.
They have alot of items available to use while you are there. Bikes, shark teeth shifters, pool towels, washer and dryer (and cheap and you can use their soap). You are 16 miles (30 minutes) from Siesta Key and 8 blocks from Venice Beach. There are many other beaches around also. The pool is heated. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Addy’s is well situated for beach & restaurant access. I love the Old Florida look of the cottages combined with modern conveniences.
The guest laundry is a nice touch and the pool is clean, tidy with excellent patio furniture.
The staff are friendly and helpful
Very relaxing experience
Beverley the host was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and quiet! Quietest air conditioning unit we have had in any smaller unit.
Borrowed bikes free of charge to rise to Venice pier, walked to beach and all restaurants very near by!
Would highly recommend and will be back,
We have stayed here at least twice a year since 2015 for at least 10 days at a time and absolutely love it. It’s always clean and the staff are always friendly and pleasant. It’s located close to the shops on Venice Ave. and easy drive to all the beaches and restaurants
Remodeled bathroom and all new tile in the room to outdated 50s vibe hotel. The room was clean and the proximity to the beach and other areas of interest was only3 miles. Walking distance to stores and restaurants.
Pretty much the only thing we liked was the location: three minute walk to the beach (which was lovely) and about 7 minute walk into the centre of Venice. Oh, and at least the towels were very good quality.
Nice area of Venice Beach. The beach is clean and the public parking and surrounding area are well kept. This is nice place to stay, well kept and close to stores and restaurants.
Staff and location were absolutely fantastic. We had the Brunch menu at the Mainland location and it was delicious.
Being right on the beach calls for an amazing sunset
Clean , friendly, great breakfast, very nice elderly lady did my check in super pleasant, quiet, comfortable, great access to all areas to different beaches in Venice
The condo is steps from Venice Beach and the Crow's Nest is down the street a block. Everyone was very friendly. The weather was awesome. Great place to be.
