Really nice stay at Talta lodge that catered super well for our family of 4. Photos are definitely accurate. Everything is sleek, modern and clean with multiple areas indoors and outside to lounge and chill. The hotel is placed just next to the river and the Stowe Recreation Path with plenty of trails nearby.frre parking, indoor swimming pool and sauna were the cherry on the top. Will definitely be back!

We had an excellent stay! The property is clean and warm and an appropriate size for sharing. There’s some great facilities like sauna and hot tub for after slope recharging. There was the right amount of options available for breakfast such as scrambled eggs with sausage along with granola and yogurt. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. The shuttle bus stop is immediately outside the property. Overall this felt like the right price / value for a few days on the slopes. There’s plenty of USB sockets in the room for charging.

We have travelled through 5 states on a family holiday with teens, and this was our favourite hotel by far! Friendly, comfortable, airy and clean rooms, thoughtful details, complimentary continental breakfast, coffee and cookies, views of the river, amazing hot tub and pool. Definitely some of the best accomodation we stayed in on our trip! I can’t speak more highly of the staff, they were so helpful and lovely and so kind. The Inn is right in the middle of town, and had so many extra facilities that made it just that extra bit special.

The hosts were amazingly friendly and accommodating. The property was utterly beautiful, and we were so impressed by the accessibility of everything. We had to leave for an early flight before breakfast the last day, so they packed up breakfast to go, so we wouldn't have to take the plane hungry. Absolutely cannot believe how awesome they were. The next time we decide to visit, they're our first choice for sure.

Quite village . Clean and nice . Alot of trails to do near by . I would reccomend to come in October .The colors are just perfect Driving to lake willoughby is a must.. Alor of restaurants near by. The thai restaurant was perfect.

Went to Emily's covered bridge.

Went to Emily's covered bridge. On the way back down was spectacular views! Don't forget the gondola ride up Mt. Mansfield as well as the toll road. Getting around was easy as most things were on the main strip. We ate at many places but was sticker shocked on food prices. I don't mind spending but some things were WAY overpriced! All in all it was a fun relaxing trip after getting a room. The first place wasn't accessible so we went across the street and luckily they had a room for us.. Stowe is magical, great restaurants with fantastic meal choices and exceptional staffs,. Views abound. Great programs and good times. We will continue returning to the vacation capital of the east Green mountain is great for breakfast Harrisons is best for steak, venison and rack of lamb. Outstanding atmosphere Salute is great for everything on the menue , Get to Edson Farm as soon as you can , very small but over the top.

Stowe is probably the best all-round ski resort in the Northeast, at least of those I've visited. The mountain has it all: Steeps, cruisers, glades, woods, a good layout, no long flat run-outs, plenty of options. (Hayride, while rated blue, can be awful mid-season, as it gets slick and crowded; there are better trails nearby; generally pick natural-snow trails when you can. )There's access to the backcountry if that's your thing. The snow is about as reliable as it gets in New England, and the season lasts deep into the spring. The lines can be long on weekends, and there's no denying it's spendy. But it's also authentic (except for the Spruce Peak base; it's a faux resort village, though the buildings are attractive). There's good cross country and backcountry skiing there, too. Tip: Ride the free bus or get four people together to park for free. Make your base at Mansfield or the gondola, and enjoy authentic apres at the Mansfield Lodge.

Stowe is fun. Not over done like so many resort towns.

Stowe is fun. Not over done like so many resort towns. This place is much more authentic and the people were very nice. They actually wanted to talk and appreciated visitors. Lots of fun places to pop into - don't miss Lake Champlain chocolates. The Field Guide Inn has live entertainment and a wonderful lobby space with fireplaces and games.

Stowe Vermont is a beautiful town with plenty of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. The hiking is spectacular. There are also plenty of great restaurants to choose from that accommodate a variety of dietary preferences.

We had a beautiful room in the Trail House - actually more of an apartment, perfect for our stay with our 6 months old baby girl (she was sleeping in the bed room while we could relax in the living room). The common areas are super cozy and welcoming. The entire hotel is extremely well designed and decorated: contemporary but keeping the spirit of Vermont coziness. We really liked the breakfast: simple but delicious. And we could bring it up to the room.

Breakfast is poor for this hotel category. Room is very nice with comfortable beds. Reservation was for a room for three people. The room was prepared for two people. It took more than an hour and two complaints to receive the missing glass, cup, and towels. The third robe was not provided.

The Location Spot on for exploring Stowe! The Staff always welcomed with a big smile and warm welcome! The facilities: eatery was great with awesome view of the cool bowling alleys! Swimming pool and jacuzzi just lovely! And washing facilities! It has everything!
