This host thought of EVERYTHING and expected very little from us on our departure. It’s a beautiful house! We went for the antique fair just before Round Top. There were some lovely restaurants nearby and it could not have been more perfect!

I stayed here this week and was pleasantly surprised since the outside does look a bit rough. The woman at the desk was pleasant, it was quiet overnight, the room was clean (no bugs seen anywhere), the A/C was ice cold, free wi-fi, and the room even had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel is right across from the street from McDonald's and there is a Dollar General right down the road where you can pick up food and other items.

Good restaurants. Interesting local museum.

Good restaurants. Interesting local museum. Tour of historic, very beautiful painted churches is interesting and amazing; it’s offered at the CofC. Enjoyed eating and browsing at the Garden Co. Mama’s in the historic bar and bordello was a fun place for drinks and dinner. Local shops and antique stores were interesting. Schulenburg is a pretty, charming and tidy town with very friendly people.

Excellent, Friendly, Courtesy customer service. This hotel have all the current updates as a 5 star resort that you would find in Houston, Texas. I loved the nice, clean and spacious hotel. Excellent hotel to stay for long term.

The price is excellent. People stay at certain hotel because of the name and the look on the outside. The outside of the hotel may look outdated but it is clean and the rooms are very cozy, comfortable and clean. The staff is nice and makes sure you have clean towels daily not like other hotels. We ended up staying an extra night.

My mom & I were in town for a wedding and we had a great stay at the Comfort Inn. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and cold during this hot Texas heat and very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely recommend staying here.
