It's a wonderful Lodge/hotel. Exceeded our expectations. It is situated in such a stunning area by lake. Outside the Lodge, lots of different outdoor activities, like golf, netball, chess , swimming by the lake or the pool! No extra pay like some places do. They also have a sitting area with the fire pit lit outside so guests can make marshmallows and relax. Some nights musicians play live music. The staff were friendly and the food was lovely. I have to mention, " Schroon Lodge famous cookies." I believe the staff are making them every afternoon for people who stay at the Lodge. They were amazing! So thoughtful.

Me and my son loved loved loved the Lodge overall! The staff was super friendly, well kept grounds -thank you Ethan for keeping the parking lot and walkways snow free- perfect location and room was comfortable and homey. The quality of the supplied toiletries and bath towels were a definite delight being so luxurious!!
