I would highly recommend staying at the Lodge at Kennebunk. The location was ideal being so close to major coastal Maine tourist locations. If only I had know that this place was only a 20-30 min drive to the Portland area (Using tolls which were very cheap) then I would have booked this place for our first night too. The owner was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. Room was clean and very spacious and the price was just about the best you can find in this area.

The interior design for me was spot on. It was such a comfortable room. The pool was lovely and I absolutely loved the Dutch bikes that we used to ride to the beach and into town. I would have loved to have stayed longer.

The room was spacious, the breakfast had variety and everything was presented beautifully. One thing I noticed was the comfort of all the furniture, from the chairs in the breakfast area to the sofa in the bedroom, extremely comfortable!
