The location was excellent, but it was more than I had expected to pay. Probably because of the location. The desk staff was excellent, and went out of their way to accommodate.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The location was actually further out of town than we thought.Although we were able to use a local bus to get around we could not get a map of the city from anyone.

I think Raleigh is the gateway to the South. Everyone was amiable and polite. Shopping everywhere you make a turn! Great restaurants and bars!
Great culture and lots of outdoor places to visit! I especially loved Plant Delights Nursery, Inc., Which is a great nursery and area to walk the gardens and learn more about the plants!

I was only in town for a couple days for a sporting event. But I did get to check out downtown and eat at several good restaurants. The best was 42nd Street Oyster House. I also stopped at Ancillary Fermentation Brewery, which was unique.

I was attending a conference and spent most of the time indoors at the convention center, therefore, cannot be helpful, however, the Christmas Parade happened while I was there and it was truly amazing!
I stayed at (Suites Raleigh-North Raleigh-Wake Towne Drive) March 14-15. Unexpectedly, the check-in attendant copied my ID card and credit card number, which made me feel very unsafe. Except for countries such as China, Russia, and North Korea, hotels must copy all traveler information. I will definitely not go to this hotel again next time, let alone recommend it to my friends. Copying passenger identification documents and credit card numbers is a serious violation of personal privacy. I protested seriously.
The air conditioning sucked. I had it at the lowest temp setting - 54 deg F, and it would not kick on at all. I was sweating all night!!! I turned it off and on, and there was no connection between the wall thermoset and the unit. This happened for 2 nights in a row. AWEFUL NIGHT SLEEP!!I really did not sleep all night, then I had to get up at 6am to drive 10 hours home. My daughter is a freshman at a local college so I will need hotel rooms in Raleigh for the next 5 years - it was unbearable
Maria checked us in and explained where everything was without delay, even though we got there a hour before check-in. The layout of the room was very nice and roomy. The Hyatt Place had the best breakfast of the three hotels we stayed at while in NC. They had the regular staples (toast, muffins, fruits coffee and juice) they also had 3 specialty items that were made fresh throughout the morning. The potatoes were seasoned and delicious. And we loved the mini omelets.
This is a really nice hotel for the money. It is well kept and has a bunch of amenities to enjoy inside of the hotel. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I was able to bring my dog and saw a few others had dogs as well and never heard barking the whole trip. The beds were very comfy, especially the pillows. The thermostat worked very well also. it was very close to the mall and highway. I would most definitely book here again if I come to Raleigh.
This hotel is simply amazing. The location is great but more importantly the staff is top notch. The outside Lounge/bar area is awesome. The rooms and hallways are super clean with a nice scent. The registration hosts Rob and Maria are super nice. The craft cocktails that the bar serve are top notch. This hotel is the place to stay if you want that Colorado/Asheville that meets Raleigh Vibe. Great job Longleaf keep up the good vibe.
As downtown Raleigh was over-booked/-priced for the weekend, we found this reasonable option N of the city. The property was relatively clean w/ contemporary decor and basic modern amenities in our room. This location was right across the street from a nice shopping-center w/ good grocery and fast-casual dining options, but also right off a main road + highway to get you downtown or elsewhere fairly easily.
The room was spacious and clean and had a little porch! Pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Kim and Tyler at the front desk were all-stars. We stayed at this hotel on and off for over a month while waiting for our house to be ready. It was definitely home away from home. Fantastic location also. Easy access to downtown, NC State, the NC Museum of Art (which is awesome). Highly recommended.
This property is an easy drive to just about anyplace you want to go in Raleigh. I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years. Visited the Natural Museum of Art while the Golden Mummies exhibit was going on. I t was just a few miles from the hotel. Great location.
The room was large, clean, bright, and extremely comfortable! Staff treated me like I was their favourite customer and were consistently friendly, efficient, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction with me stay in Raleigh.
The location is brilliant, right by the bars and restaurants, but was told to be aware of noise. I had a room that literally looked out onto the Raleigh Beer Garden and it was fine, no need for ear plugs or anything.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size. The hotel was also centrally located in downtown Raleigh which made it easy to reach the train station and other local destinations.
Always stay here when visiting Raleigh. Hotel is clean, good size rooms and breakfast is good for hotel breakfasts. Location is perfect-convenient to restaurants and highway.
Really nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. Super quiet to sleep. Maybe too quiet if you want to visit Raleigh or Durham, but it's close to the freeways.
