Very pretty city despite the fact that, like many other cities it was victimized by the interstate highway interests in the 70's and early 80's. If you go in October, the Jack-O-Lantern event at the Zoo is spectacular. Italian areas is good; Camile's is recommended for dinner. The DownCity Arts district and the RI School of Design art museum are places to see. However, I did find that Providence is expensive compared to where I live, so be prepared to pay a few $$ more for dinner and drinks.

Actually, I didn't see much of the city.

Actually, I didn't see much of the city. I mainly toured other towns in RI, but I had to come to Providence to catch the train home. The one night I spent at this hotel, however, was a great way to end my vacation.

Providence is a lovely city, and I enjoyed visiting the RISD museum. Also, since I live in the Midwest, I found the opportunity to each New England's seafood really great. There are lots of good places to eat seafood near the hotel.

I loved the Downtown City View, the Whole Foods market up the street in which we could easily walk to. There was a Greggs's restaurant not too far from where we stayed that had amazing food and endless desserts.

We didn’t have any problems with our stay we love the Omni.

We didn’t have any problems with our stay we love the Omni. But one thing I would absolutely change about the Omni has to be the room service menu. We've noticed it was the same items from our last stay and it still didn't taste all that great. The fries, the clam chowder, the turkey club sandwich was the best thing. Our burgers were a little burnt, the pizza tasted like tomato juice and the chicken crusted sandwich had a lot of lemon juice or it.

Ideally located just a short walk to Federal Hill.

Ideally located just a short walk to Federal Hill. It had all the amenities we could have possibly needed for a short weekend away. The place was very clean and if it were warmer we would have taken advantage of the porch.

The room was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms and toilets were shared, but I didn't meet other guests. The room was spacious. I stayed there for about 8 days, but I felt comfortable the entire time. It was as good a place to stay as common hotels in Japan! It was my first time staying by myself in a foreign country, so I was a little nervous at first. However, the hosts, Luz and Rubin, were very nice people, and I had a great time in Providence! I would love to meet them again! ありがとうございました!

An ideally situated place. Very quiet. As a foreigner not used to self-check-in hotels, I had several questions about various matters, and Stefano always replied instantly, courteously and efficiently. He then gave me useful reminders during my stay.
