The room was superb, very clean and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too! The white noise machine (part of the clock) was a great bonus! Having stayed in Midtown during previous trips, staying in the Upper West Side was a welcome change. The location is excellent. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Central Park and Subway stations. Loads of great bars and restaurants close by.

Overall, I would highly recommend Luma Hotel to anyone looking for a excellent and convenient stay in the heart of New York City. Location and room size 38 m2 were what we had in mind while we booked this hotel. We had room cleaning everyday. Very clean always. I was a bit worried it does not require a room card to use the elevator, we felt safe when we observed the lobby, no strange types hanging around. Manhattan is very expensive than we had expected, so it is very good there is Subway, Mac donald and Panda express at the corner, 4 of us could eat one meal around 20 dollars instead of 160 dollars. The small kitchen works well with making a simple sandwich, cornflake breakfast and cupnudler.

The room was spacious, renovated, large bed, quiet, the staff of the hotel was very kind, professional and helpful. We asked to change the room and they delivered my request. The bathroom was also clean and nicely renovated.
