the hotel is well located, very close to the Newark Penn Station. The room and bathroom are quite specious. it was very clean and with enough amenities. check in and check out we’re very simple and easy. Staff was friendly. we enjoy our stay there. Will recommend it.

The staff here is top notch in character. They treated me like a queen. They celebrated my birthday .I move to LA and came back on 24th July. Their laundry dryer was bad and they helped dry my stuff.l love this facility. It is home away from home.

The breakfast was eat as you can and even though not directly accessible from the airport but the taxi driver didn't have problems locating it. It's just 7 to 10 minutes from the airport.

Excellent location. Bang opposite the Jersey Garden mall. There is an IHOP and a Ruby Tuesday Grill next door. Lots of places to eat in the mall food court. There are 2 buses to New York Port Authority every 30 min and the journey time takes only 35 min. A good 24hr free pick up service from P3 stop at Newark.

From the periodic information passengers were able to get my United flight to Portland Maine was repeatedly delayed and then cancelled because the plane would not be able to land once it arrived. Apparently the problems on 4 September were building up throughout the day. Before the flight from LA landed my daughter in Sydney, Australia messaged me to tell there were ”shenanigans” at Newark.

By far the worst experience of my life!

By far the worst experience of my life! I've traveled around the world for the last 50 years, but I had never experienced such a terrible experience as I did at the Howard Johnson EWA ! I strongly recommend you eliminate that hotel from the listing!

I liked the train and the fact that for the most part they run on time. Ate at iHOP, Meal was lovely but a little pricey. Stayed in the hotel the next day and ordered Chinese food. This was fantastic and tremendous value for money.

Area was downtown Newark and typical of such Urban areas. The only nearby pharmacy was closed at 500 in the afternoon. The convenience store nearby quoted one price for my transaction, then charged $11 plus dollars extra. My fault for bot raking a receipt. Blight of anything decent to eat within walking distance but then there's Uber Eats and Doir Dash. I had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest pharmacy, a Walgreens but it was well equipped and lots of restaurants nearby. Near the hotel, lots of historic churches and buildings. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there agai

Could never reach a help from booking.com for the problem I...

Could never reach a help from booking.com for the problem I had. Arriving at the place I notice a email letting me know the room was not available any more. Even I HAD PAID ALREADY. I did try to reach the owner and Booking.com No success. Until now I don’t have idea how to get the reimbursement.

I visit my son in Newark every month.

I visit my son in Newark every month. As a single father who wants to spend quality time a son, Newark offers many places to visit. American dream mall its just 20 mins away and you can spend a good day with a lot of entertaiments, recreations, restaurants, and more. I like visit Newark for its closines to NY city too. People are nice, police officer are nice, food is great, I never get borde in Newark.

Location was good - 5 to 10 minutes walk to Newark-Penn Train Station, perfect for us intending to take Path train to NYC. The room looked new and spacious with comfortable bed and mattress. The bathroom was also roomy. Guarded carpark was right next to the hotel with reduced rates for guests, and there are quite a lot of spaces. There is also a good-vibe restaurant downstairs.

Shuttle staff member on our return trip to airport was amazing! He did a great job and very personable. Only having one lift working slowed things down. Hotel did serve it's purpose when we arrived late and needed to rest. The bed was perfect for us, and there was definitely no roll together!!
