Travelled with my daughter and New York delivered and met...

Travelled with my daughter and New York delivered and met both our needs. We got around on foot and got to see everything we planned on seeing and more. We stayed close to Times Square which was a great location as was central however after the second day it felt a little overwhelming, noise, bright lights, too many people. We spent the last of our three days exploring the west village, Greenwich, Chelsea areas which were much more relaxed and decided that when we return we would look at accommodation in those areas. We pre booked a broadway show, Beetlejuice which was fantastic however the 2 large glasses of wine cost an extortionate amount so would recommend not drinking at the venue……$94.00!!!!

Love this vibrant city - Always so much to do and see.

Love this vibrant city - Always so much to do and see. There is always a great Broadway show to enjoy - or take the free Staten Island ferry to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. Walk the Highline - visit Grand Central station or the New York Public Library, walk over the Brooklyn Bridge all free to do and of course a stroll through Central Park. A fun thing to do is a walking tour of one of the boroughs And when you choose to spend $$$$$ lots and lots of attractions

We always enjoy our trips to NYC for plays, music, shopping, and food that is unavailable at home. This trip we saw "Carmen" at the Met, "The Outsiders" on Broadway, visited family on Long Island, ate several wonderful lunches and dinner and got to see beautiful design. Every visit we promise to return at least 3 times a year for our "New York fix". We love it.

I was in New York to do some personal business.

I was in New York to do some personal business. I'm originally from there, so weren't many surprises. Didn't do any sightseeing, except the business I needed to take care of was lower Manhattan near the courthouses and near Chinatown, so walked around enjoyed that and had a great meal. The Lexington Avenue subway was nearby and ran fine.

The beeping of horns and waiting for white man on walk ways...

The beeping of horns and waiting for white man on walk ways is something you have to get used to .. Watch out for the steam from the sewers it’s like the movies … smells of cannabis and hot dogs.. It’s very expensive for food and drink and some earn tips others just demand it.. We did uber, bus tour, boat trip, bus and subway so experienced it all.. subway was cheap and easy.. Celtic bar on Friday night for Sinatra singer..

Enjoyed our trip we were here 5 days and saw all the sights...

Enjoyed our trip we were here 5 days and saw all the sights travelled mainly on foot and by subway - we found that we saw things off the beaten track that had we been on trips or hop-on hop off buses we would have missed. For example Highlines, and all the things in Central Park which we walked through - Highly recommend the 911 museum, Liberty and Ellis Island but book direct at the State City Cruises as these are the only way to get into the Statue of Liberty and into the crown, its also a lot cheaper than booking through agents. We ate and drank at local cafes and pubs around the city and even took in some roof top bars, the night-time atmosphere was fantastic. We felt safe walking round the city and did not see any trouble or experience any problems. The only thing which has put me off visiting New York again is the strong smell of cannabis everywhere as it is now legal to buy it from the many shops selling it.

This hotel is perfectly located, close to the Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and subway stations. We were a bit concerned with noise prior to our arrival, but the kindly staff gave us a room facing back and it was really quiet (for New York). We were pleasantly surprised by this. Friendly staff members like miss Karina, Miss Nancy and the Paris borne gentlemen that makes perfect espresso coffee made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in midtown either alone or with family.

Couldn't ask for a better location bang in the middle of Manhattan and for a reasonable price too. Situated between multiple subway stations, places to eat and Times Square just around the corner. This was perfect for a first time traveller to New York.

The hotel boasts perhaps the best rooftop bar in Midtown Manhattan. You a close enough to have a clear view of Times Square, but at a distance which provides some peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of the area.
