Hitching Post is on a very quiet location, no noise at night. The photos of the place didn't live up to reality: it's so much bigger and nicer! Inside, the place is huge and luxurious. Carpets in which you sink to your ankles, comfortable beds in two separate sleeping rooms, a fullh functional kitchen,... The only disadvantage was that we only stayed for one night, we wouldn't have minded staying any longer. Top three in 30 years of traveling around!

The location was nice but we expected to be a lot nearer to the lake. We could see the lake but it was a long way away. We expected to be able to sit overlooking the lake. The apartment however was spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. Attention to detail was excellent. Some outside chairs and cushions would have been nice to appreciate the scenery. There was no where to sit outside. This is the perfect place for a week to two week stay, less so for one night.
