A pleasant stay in a nice hotel. A common area with fridge and coffee/tea. Room is nice with comfortable bed and WiFi. A pizza restaurant in the hotel served a really good pizza. Breakfast was good enough. Parking space free of charge.

Maplecroft is SO charming, and Caryn made the whole thing so special. This is not for people looking for the sterile, hands-off kind of stay that a large hotel chain can offer, rather it is a warm and personal experience in a unique and historic bed and breakfast. We had the Tower Room which was the smallest room in the house, but it was still very comfortable and totally kitch with it's genuinely Victorian style of decoration (which is the same throughout the entire property). Our bathroom was across the hall, but again this wasn't a problem as it was totally exclusive to us and had an amazing free-standing tub that we had use of. Caryn's breakfasts were delicious and always of a generous size, which set us up for the day perfectly. She was a warm and gracious host, lovely to chat with and full of great information and recommendations. Highly recommended for an authentic Vermont experience!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The pillows were not to my liking and the mattress wasn’t the best. I loved the setting!!

This is actually a phenomenal spacious house with a beautiful chef kitchen, spacious lounge very well equipped and nicely decorated. It's two flights of stairs to the bedroom. Overall if you're looking for a self-catering vacation this is a very beautiful option.
