Loud city. Many sidewalks etc obstructed by tents and rubbish. While nearby Beverly Hills and Santa Monica were beautiful, we regretted visiting Downtown LA which was one of the dirtiest cities we’ve ever seen.

Universal Studios is overrated with much more time waiting for things than experiencing anything. The Getty Museum and Villa are excellent and you only have to pay for parking once if you do both in one day. Palm trees, beaches, La Brea Tar Pits, Hollywood, Griffith Park Observatory! Drive west on Sunset to the sea. Great food of all kinds easily to be found. Unique sunsets. Universal Studios to the north, Disneyland to the south. Too much to see in one trip! BUT...a full spectrum experience, not everybody in Tinseltown has good luck, much homelessness and public distress to be seen on the streets.

I have to say I LOVE Los Angeles.
I have to say I LOVE Los Angeles. Its a must to see it. i heard a lot about the traffic but there is always a way to cut it off and even the people are super nice and asking careing question. A sad note is that some people are suffering and this was hard to see. I hope it will be better one day :)Thiruchelvam

The hotels in Los Angeles are very expensive and if you're on a budget the travelodge is ok .We were visiting L.A so we were out all day long and most of the evening so we just needed somewhere clean to sleep. The wifi was on and off The area was safe and overall the motel was ok

There was always water available for everyone. Everything was clean. I couldn't use the pool and wasn't able to get some drinks at the restaurant but it looked very fancy. There's always free shuttles to the Airport. The hotel is near everything. What's not to love? I totally recommend it and will always be my first option when staying in Los Angeles

I stayed in room 1207 and it was a big room with cooking facilities and the bathroom was extra big. It has east access to Starbucks and a wonderful pizza shop as well. The pool was awesome and the hotel is extra close to the airport as well.
