Great little place.
Great little place. Nice if it would have been in walking distance of Camden but nonetheless a sweet, uncrowded place to hang our hats for a couple nights. Mount Battie was an excellent hike for us. Good hiking nearby in addition to being right on the ocean. Great trails at Camden Hills State park. Great mountaintop views. The towns nearby--like Camden, Belfast and Rockland--were fun to explore. Not a lot to do but fun to walk around and see all the boats.

The entire area was pleasant and picturesque.

Lincolnville is a very small village, not a lot of action...
Lincolnville is a very small village, not a lot of action there, but a nice little beach. But if you are looking for a peaceful get-a-way where your hotel is not next to a major highway or in a busy city, the Spouter Inn in Lincolnville is the place to go. If you are looking for nightlife, it's only a short drive away.

Marc and Linda are superb hosts and could not be more welcoming, offering advice on places to visit as well as delivering delicious breakfasts. There is an honesty bar in the property and two great Lobster Shacks to eat at within a stones through. It's a must stay for anyone doing a New England road trip and we cannot recommend more highly.

It was nice to have a space all our own at the end of the day. Loved the porch, grilling and fire pit options. Lincolnville is a nice jump off point for mid coast Maine yet a bit off the beaten path so you can retreat after a full day.
