Lake Placid, a short distance from the bigger city of Sebring, is a pleasant place to visit. The downtown area is small but does have a few nice shops and restaurants. If you love sunsets this is the place to be! There are so many lakes to enjoy in the area. Two restaurants we enjoyed were Jaxon's and Dock 633 both located on Lake June-in-Winter. You don't have to travel too far to see the local wild life and hiking trails.

This home was perfect for our family: * In an excellent neighborhood * Clean and super spacious * Tastefully decorated with well-made upscale furniture and decor that was in excellent condition * Fully stocked with everything we needed… so much better than a hotel room * It even included appliances that I haven’t yet purchased for my home! They thought of everything, and it was a pleasure to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed playing pool together as a family at the billiard table. As well as the Santa Express Steam Engine ride, followed by the good old-fashioned town parade in the evening. This quaint town is an absolute gem. The owner was very accommodating, responded immediately when contacted, and was easy to talk to. This home was a win all around for us! We will definitely be returning. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the lakeview.

Loved the lakeview. Faces east, so we got the moonrise and sunrise too. Old school motel style, but the inside has obviously been renovated recently. Bathroom and kitchenette were nice. Fridge and even a dishwasher. I could see staying for several days. Bring plates, utensils, etc., as the supply is very limited. Super value

Fishing on Lake Grassy and Lake placid can and has been really good. Unfortunately during our stay there was a front and we were a bit early in the year. Great relaxing stay when your only worry is catching fish and eating lunch on a beautiful lake.

From the time I saw it on Booking.com. It was easy to book well explained, and when I arrived, everything was exactly what it should’ve been very spacious house, three bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, well equipped, really really nice private backyard, and a quiet, quiet neighborhood. The house is like a three bedroom luxury hotel all the sheets were very soft, and the towels were very thirsty, which is a good thing and also a 2 car garage. Everything worked perfectly enjoyed it extremely a lot.
