Hotel is dated. Rooms are beat up. Prices were very high, so I am going to be more critical. Breakfast was great. Parking was great. Rooms are dark and outdated.

The thing I liked most was the friendly staff and the worst experience about staying there was that there was hair still in in floors and bathtub and a live roach on the floor in the bathroom
I definitely would not recommend anyone to stay there

I enjoyed my stay in Hoover.
I enjoyed my stay in Hoover. The atmosphere was very quite and pleasant. The people that I came in contact with were pleasant as well. The location is great. Traveling about the city is easy and there is plenty for the entire family to do.

I believe this is a very safe area for an elderly person traveling with a small pet. I feel very safe in Hoover and this hotel. The hotel is almost always having a policeman's training or a ball conference, so I believe this adds to the popularity of the hotel.

I was impressed with the area everything was close enough to get too. The River chase area was absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I are thinking about moving to the area after talking with some of the people that live there.

We stayed in Hoover for the SEC baseball tournament.
We stayed in Hoover for the SEC baseball tournament. We thought the area was really nice. Would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the local food and shop more. If you are going to the SEC tournament or that arena, I recommend staying in this area.

Unfortunately Hoover is under repair for an old facility...
Unfortunately Hoover is under repair for an old facility with slow elevators that smell like their age; the construction restrictions limited availability of parking. The breakfast was simply awful, serve a great breakfast or none at all. The room was clean with old carpeting and room service/cleaning was good.
Suite 321...clean functional bedroom and kitchen. Comfortable king bed. Both ac units cooled well in 100 degree heat. Very cold fridge. Adequate cups, plates etc for kitchen Entire hotel appeared clean. Included breakfast on par with expectations. Very quite suite at far end of this single hallway hotel. This hotel has multiple locked security doors so parking close to an entrance was easy. Plenty of parking during our visit.
The breakfast selection was fairly standard for this type of property but the buffet and eating area was kept quite tidy. We rented a King suite which was very roomy and made our 5 night stay quite comfortable for 2 people. There were also a good selection of restaurants and shopping in this suburb of Birmingham.
I chose this hotel because it had a full kitchen. I got there to find out it had NO kitchenware, NO coffee maker. NOTHING. It was advertised as having all that. That is false advertising. There was never anyone at the front desk...there was a number you could call if you needed assistance.
great options for non traditional hotel stays. we had a two bedroom king and double queen for our family if 5. not to mention there is a basketball court and grill area outside. it is close to great restaurants and shopping. we will never stay anywhere else when we go to Birmingham!
The hotel itself is outdated, but the room (king room) was excellent! The ladies at the desk where very helpful and kind. Very comfortable beds. Superb wifi. Good shower. Coffee / tea facility and 2 free bottles of water when arriving.
Shauna at the desk went above and beyond to help us. I accidentally booked the wrong date and she was excellent about getting us a room. Best customer service experience at a hotel I’ve ever experienced!
I have stayed at nicer cheaper places with free breakfast. The pool was nasty. They charge 15 to eat. They has mini bars of soap.. They charge for everything they can afford decent soap. It was a mess
The staff and hotel are wonderful. The room was squeaky clean and so was the whole hotel. The price was great. I could not have asked for a better place to stay.
Hotel is dated. Rooms are beat up. Prices were very high, so I am going to be more critical. Breakfast was great. Parking was great. Rooms are dark and outdated.
The hotel did not refund my $50 security deposit plus they charge me an extra $50 for a towel that was stained but could have been cleaned by using Clorox
very clean and the staff made sure we were taken care of inspite of the system being down which was out of the hotel control everything went smoothly!!!
