Great place, extremely close to the beach. The hotel itself consists of five or so separate houses with apartment-style rooms. My room had a large separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a small dining area, and a terrace. There is a (somewhat poorly working) coffee machine with basic tea and coffee provided, but there is no breakfast offered by the hotel. The rooms are very clean. The biggest asset is definitely the location — literally 2 minutes from the beach. You can also borrow basic beach equipment (sunbed, blanket) for free, which is a nice bonus. Parking is available at a very reasonable price of $12 per day (compared to around $5 per hour on the street). You can also leave your car on the day of departure, which is convenient if your flight is in the afternoon. Overall, the price is very good considering the location and amenities.

This is my second stay at Riptide, and I definitely want to come back again. Everything is perfect – the service, the location, the apartments, the outdoor bar, the view, the surroundings. I highly recommend visiting Riptide – I’m giving it a 10 because that’s the maximum, but they truly deserve 100.

We have stayed at this motel many times in the past. We love the location, but this stay wasn’t really a vacation, just somewhere to sleep after Thanksgiving dinner with our family in Hollywood. Which was a good thing… it was too cold and rainy to go to the beach!

The Uber drivers we had were wonderful people.

The Uber drivers we had were wonderful people. We ate at a restaurant called Uptown 66, authentic Mexican. Absolutely delicious and quite inexpensive. I'd go there again in a minute! We had to hit a pharmacy - the driver was helpful and waited for my husband. We only stayed one night and were catching a cruise the next day.

the transportation ($1 ride) was only available through smartphone apps. since we dont have access to a smartphone we couldnt use it. But we loved the place, very convenient to get around even without a car.

We love Hollywood Beach.

We love Hollywood Beach. The particular area holds a lot of nostalgia for us as we used to live in Hollywood. We now live in Southwest Florida so anytime we can get over to Hollywood Beach is a treat. We love that everything is conveniently close by including restaurants and shops. The vibes are very cool. It is family friendly. You feel comfortable in the day or evening walking up and down the boardwalk. Highly recommend Rocco‘s pizza. Everything they have in there is delicious. Also recommend food and drinks from Sahara‘s, which is just a little bit up from Rocco‘s. The band shell always has great live music.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the condition and service I experienced during my recent stay. Upon arrival, the room was visibly unclean—there were stains on the sheets, handprints on the walls, and the overall environment did not meet basic cleanliness standards. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning, making the room uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. The check-in process was also extremely inefficient, taking nearly an hour of our time. This level of service is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected from properties listed on booking.com. Given these issues, I am requesting a refund or discount to reflect the inconvenience and poor conditions. I will also be reporting these concerns to Booking.com, as I believe this property should be reviewed for continued listing.

The beach is beautiful with full public access.

The beach is beautiful with full public access. The Broadwalk that runs along the beach has many restaurants with live music, good drinks, plenty of people watching and friendly staff. Family friendly and great for adult only trips as well, rent bikes, tandem bikes or walk. Traffic is busy in all of Hollywood so allow for extra time. Aventura Mall about a 20min drive away is amazingly large and high end with many unique dining options. The horse track near by is also a fun and free beautiful complex and a great way to spend an afternoon!

Location was excellent, only 5 minutes from the beach. Free hotel sun loungers on the beach. Very spacious apartment with full equipped kitchen, 2 balconies, one off the lounge and one off the bedroom as we were a corner apartment. Two televisions, excellent air conditioning, kettle, coffee maker. The apartment had a fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, oven, hob, microwave. Just like being at home ! Rooftop Pool, Jacuzzi, Bar and Restaurant were brilliant if not expensive.

The property was clean the bed comfortable very attractive daycore. Very good value for money with full kitchen quite well stocked kitchen. Wi fi very good. Great couch and big tv if you need to keep kids amused. Very quiet location in older section of Hollywood. Property sends clear instructions. Would recommend for those on a budget but with a car. Much cheaper than beach hotel
