We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.

Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

Jimmy and Frank were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was small but had everything we needed, and the bed was comfy. Was lovely to have coffee and snacks available 24/7. We also highly recommend their food as its delicious. Great location and easy to get to from JFK. Thank you
