Glad we splurged on this stay. Staff were great, 24hour pool and hot tub were a great addition. It was our anniversary and they gave us a free drinks voucher which was lovely. About 45 minute drive to Yosemite falls and cheaper than staying in the valley.

Waking up in these tents in a super comfortable bed but in the middle of nature was an exceptional experience. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Keep in mind it is 45min drive to the valley to avoid being surprised. But highly recommend.

The house was incredible, I feel the pictures uploaded actually did it injustice. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful area. Everything was easy to do including checking in and checking out and our host was always checking in via messages to make sure everything was ok. Definitely would stay here again!

This accommodation was perfect for us to stay during a road trip through Yosemite National Park. After a lot of driving and then activities in Yosemite Valley, it was ideal to spend the evening drinking refreshing drinks on the terrace. The lovely family at the Berkshire Inn made our three days and nights there just perfect. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast is delicious, and the town has fun restaurants and a grocery store. With Yosemite in driving distance it was perfect for our three days exploring the park.

The very clean rooms, more than helpful staff and dining access on the property were the most important to my group of three. In addition, the attached balcony was perfect for an evening spent winding down from the trip. The meals we had were cooked exactly as asked and were very good as well. At the time of our visit, the pool was not yet open for the season and would have been welcome by our group.

Charming town with plenty of shopping, history, a few places...

Charming town with plenty of shopping, history, a few places to eat. I would drive around before settling on a place to eat. Highly recommended fishing guide company , Echo. Bryant, who is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and other parts of the state, seems to be a great resource for exploring and enjoying the region. Overall, it appears to be a wonderful destination for both shopping and outdoor activities.

Groveland is a decent place for staying if you are going to...

Groveland is a decent place for staying if you are going to Yosemite - of course if the price was less and there was more accommodation in the park itself that would be better - but given the lack of affordable accommodation (except for campsites) Groveland is OK.

Cute town with everything you need for a visit to Yosemite...

Cute town with everything you need for a visit to Yosemite National Park. We enjoyed eating at the Top of the Trail Coffee (great breakfast sandwiches), Iron Door Tavern and Two Guys Pizza Pies. The Mar-Val grocery has a great selection. It was about a 45 minute drive into Yosemite.

Plenty of good trails around if you drive 30-40 mins.

Plenty of good trails around if you drive 30-40 mins. On the resort trails are very limited. Stay away from food at the PML golf club , very poor and overpriced. We did Carlon falls which takes you into Yosemite and you can swim when you reach the falls — allow 3 hours round trip including a good stop at the falls. Park just past the official car park off road for free ! Sunsets are amazing - I am sure the sunrise is too.

hotel located more than 1hour drive from the entrance of yosemite park and when it rains road is really dangerous and poor light on the road to join the hotel . lack of sign and light in the hotel and you get lost in the dark on the numerous paths to find your room after dinner also wanted to reserve a massage we stayed 2 nights but massage was impossible and they suggested i go to one of their other hotel 20 min drive! (40 min total)

We stayed for 1 night to explore Yosemite and it was a comfortable cozy stay. It is just outside Groveland with a great location and great views. The property is lovely, the hosts were really nice and a delicious breakfast was served. We were really happy with our stay.

Yosemite Westgate Lodge is about 1hour from Yosemite Valley and is a good price. It was very clean and the room we had was moden. There was a diner next door which is perfect for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
