Gold beach bbq is great food.

Gold beach bbq is great food. The other great food is sunset family pizza. Their tri tip pizza is awesome I recommend either place. I love goin to gold beach cause it's a quiet little town with lots of character.

Gold Beach is a beautiful little town in Oregon right on the ocean. Jerry's Jet Boat rides are amazing and highly recommend them to anyone that wants to see wild country from the Rogue River. This is the second time we have gone, and we have loved it so much. The team at Cougar Lane Lodge in Agness are amazing and the food is great.

Been visiting GB for 50 years and we found new never seen beaches north of town and a new restaurant on the river which we thought was open to guests only.... not TuTuTun lodge! Excellent excellent and relaxing.......

You have to keep in mind that Gold Beach is not a really big...

You have to keep in mind that Gold Beach is not a really big city. If you’re looking to just relax and enjoy nature and the scenery this area will give you that. If you’re looking to have more activity or night life then you might be disappointed. There are a few small craft brewers in the area if you enjoy beer. Lot of food choices, there’s a restaurant south of the rouge river bridge at the marina with amazing views as you watch the sunset. There’s also a Thai food place called the Khob Kun serving excellent dishes. Don’t be fooled by its appearance, it’s a food truck/trailer with picnic table benches or take out which is what most people did including us. Barnacle Bistro is another place we tried and it’s also a good place to eat. They have plenty of beers to choose from.

For me, the town was alright for a small town.

For me, the town was alright for a small town. I wish there was maybe a smaller store to stop at for essentials. If there was, I didn't find it. Never a good idea to need Tylenol or tampons, when you have to get them at a gas station or grocery store. $$ People were really friendly though! We had car trouble and several people stopped to check if we were okay. And the car shop in town, had some really great people that got us back on the road.

Gold Beach is a fun, quiet, relaxing Oregon coastal town. We enjoy staying at the Pacific Reef, walking on the beach and eating at Double ‘D’ Diner for breakfast. We normally eat at Spinner’s but they ‘changed hands’ and don’t serve crab cakes any longer so we went to Bandon to eat ;-)

The staff was lovely and checked me in quickly. The location is great. Gold Beach itself strikes me as a struggling small town, kind of industrial, but you can get anywhere from here. Beach access is easy and a good restaurant is across the street. You have a perfectly good microwave and fridge, and it's more quiet than I would expect being right on the 101. You get plenty of good hot water for baths and showers which I really appreciated.

Everything about this hotel was superior, the room and furnishings, the very welcoming staff, the location and the view. The price was quite a bit lower than we have paid for accommodation at several other hotels/motels along the Oregon coast - considering the overall level this is extremely good value for money. This was the last night of our holiday - what a lovely way to cap off a great trip.

A lovely place along the Rogue River on the outskirts of Gold Beach. The view was enchanting even on a cold, rainy afternoon. There was a small outdoor patio which would have been perfect to relax on a warm, sunny afternoon. The indoor hot tub in a separate building was a welcome bonus. Lots of handy parking. The room was spacious and very clean.

Motel 6 at Gold Beach exceeded our expectations. It’s an older style motel but the room we were in was very well kept with a spacious bathroom and comfy bed. It was nice and quiet.
