We stayed for one night at Glass Magnolia and had a wonderful time. The breakfast made by Wally was absolutely delicious — though definitely a bit much for a European appetite! Wally and Nancy love to chat and show genuine interest in their guests, which made us feel very welcome. Their dog Gus is the sweetest and adds to the cozy, homely atmosphere. The building itself is very old and full of character; you can really feel its history as you walk through it. Also, just down the street, there’s a fantastic pizzeria called Giovanni’s — definitely worth a visit! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Super convenient location near the airport with MASSIVE rooms and comfy beds which swallowed us up after a very long day of transatlantic travel and flight delays. The hotel is very quiet and we were able to rest after a nightmare journey which meant we didn’t reach Ithaca until almost 2am. So thankful for this Marriott and pleasantly surprised by it! Would definitely recommend, especially if you have a very early flight to catch or a very late arrival that would make traveling onwards difficult.

This motel is 5 miles from downtown Ithaca and within a 3-minute drive of Cornell University. The motel offers a daily continental breakfast and rooms with free Wi-Fi.
