I slept on a comfortable bed, so I missed breakfast. The microwave worked as it should. The refrigerator kept my drinks cold. The hair dryer did not work, but was replaced upon notification.

The breakfast was excellent. Very professionally prepared and served. Jim and Russell were great hosts and made us feel right at home. Look forward to a Christmas trip to see this beautiful home decorated for Christmas.

There's nothing to do after you did the lights and went in...
There's nothing to do after you did the lights and went in the small shops that night. Thats it. I called down to front desk and ask what is there to do she said bowling and movies. I can do that at home.

Forest City is a small town with a lot to offer.
Forest City is a small town with a lot to offer. Small shops downtown and at Christmas the lights are fabulous, a must see. My family's hometown so I am a bit prejudice, but it is a great place to visit, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city.
Manager Tim was the absolute best person at any hotels I travel to and I travel a lot!!!! I cannot tell you what a gem you have in his professionalism, his making sure you have the best of the best!!!! Jenny at front desk ( I don’t think it’s Penny) was awesome also helping me get the exact room needed for my disability needs that booking did not offer. She was awesome also!!!! Both of these ppl are truly Godsent for senior travelers like myself. Without their attention to details I would have been miserable!!!!
Did not eat breakfast. Rooms need updating, toilet/shower very old & damaged. Did not rest well due to load construction next door and construction workers staying at hotel also. Liked that hotel pet friendly but did not like advertisement making you think you paid for pet on line (price included pet) at desk when checking in was surprised had to pay additional fee for pet. Need to be upfront when advertising "pet friendly" FEE NOT INCLUDED when booking on line.
There is no one at the front desk except certain hours. In all the years I have been staying here the HBO has not worked. Motel is getting run down even though sign says 'newly remodeled. If it had been remodeleled, you would think that they would have painted the door to the room and repaired damage to the ceiling of the room. All that said, it is the best value I have founfd in forest City.
We stayed in Forest City Arkansas there front desk was great. Even when we had a wrong reservation setup in another Forest City difference state thru Booking .com . They got us set up with a great room late and a good night sleep.
