We were able to watch a lift off from the patio in front of hotel. It was very cool. We were given a delicious complementary dinner and drinks. We appreciated the hospitality so much. It is definitely a bonus to be so close to cruise port. We loved our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

During my stay, I was able to watch a shuttle being launched...
During my stay, I was able to watch a shuttle being launched at the nearby Kennedy Space Center. That was an unexpected experience that I was glad to see. Only two bad experience during this stay was the jelly fish larvae that began stinging us at Cocoa Beach and the dining experience at the Fish Camp Restaurant. The food there wasn't very good and they brought out a steak that smelled rotten and made the whole table sick before it was returned. Other than that, I had an enjoyable experience at Cape Canaveral.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Cape Canaveral was a great location to board my Cruise. The hotel I stayed at was near many restaurants with a variety of options. The weather was beautiful. The shuttle experience was well organized and ran very smooth. No delays getting to the ship and the customer service was very good.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0
My expectations were way higher.
My expectations were way higher. Something is very interesting, but the bus trips can be shorter or more optimized, 'cause it all looks the same around. But overall I liked the experience and some exhibits are for use exclusive for that place.

We went to Kennedy Space center with our 8 yr old Granddaughter and got to see a launch! Many exhibits to see and the Space Shuttle Atlantis on display. Very educational! She got to speak to an Astronaut!

We used hotel transportation to Port to get on a cruise. It was not clear to other guests that they needed to wait for the bus taking them to their specific port. Several Carnival cruisers tried to board our Royal Bus. We also had extra Royal passengers due to them not paying attention the the time they were scheduled to catch the bus. The bus was very crowded but thankfully it was a short trip to the cruise port.

We got great advice on places to go from the gentleman who was on in the afternoons, he was really friendly. The Rooms are very quiet. Bed was comfortable, pillows took a bit of adjusting for my personal preference and the shower and bathroom were excellent. For me personally I would definitely return to the hotel.
