Our trip to St. Louis wasn't a part of the plan, so we knew absolutely nothing about the city when we arrived. Which is okay if you stay at this hotel. It's next to the main city's attraction. Some rooms have a view directly at it. You basically can go to the Arch, to a restaurant nearby, sleep in a very comfortable bed and leave. The district looks safe. The hotel is a serious business level accommodation, so it's close to perfect. And at a very responsible price (we were surprised).

We arrived at night, two rooms, we bought one chihuahua dog, they charged $25 from two rooms for her, although the dog was alone in the morning, my questions were not returned, the money was not returned, they gave us the phone number of a manager who does not answer.. I lost time and $25 in this hotel. The air conditioner didn't work, it was very cold, the blankets were thin.. I'm terrible. I won't go there again..;(

Breakfast was fine with typical fare for this type of hotel. The location was outside of St. Louis but near the center of events we were most interested in (within 18 minutes for most things), so it worked well for us at a lower price than hotels that were less than 10 minutes from the arch, Union Station, etc. The area of town was not the absolute best, but we had no problems.

Very nice, clean room with a comfortable bed. Convenient location for visiting Cahokia Mounds Historic Site and the Gateway Arch National Park. Very reasonably priced.
